Nasarawa State Operation Coordinating Unit-SOCU The program nationwide, SOCU staff are drawn from various MDAs within the Civil Service.

The unit was created in 2016 to implement the FGN program of identification of the Poor & Vulnerable in communities & population of the State Single Register (SSR).

The State Coordinator, SOCU Hussaini Adamu Musa, featured in an NBS TV program Bakonmu Na Mako

The State Coordinator use the program to educate and enlighten the populace in Nasarawa State on the current status of National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office activities especially the NIN integration/enrolment, Data Update, Data Expansion, status of the NSR, Mining of Data, NG-CARES activities, among others on Wednesday, 29/4/2026.

However, the programme will be repeated on the NBS schedules, please stay tuned and be enlighten.

The Nasarawa State Operation Coordinating Unit, regret to announce the sudden passing away of its Head of Operation, Yakubu Akuki Ogalebe.

The funeral prayers of the deceased is scheduled to take place @ his residence Police B Division, around Victory Baptist Church, Lafia by 3:30pm.
