Today, with the support of the Partnership for Agile Governance and Climate Engagement (PACE), we successfully held the validation session for the Kano State Climate Finance Reform Action and Implementation Plan (2025–2028).

The session brought together key MDAs, CSOs and Media, Their collective contributions ensured that the reform actions, responsibilities, and timelines reflect the State’s priorities, institutional realities, and climate governance aspirations.

This Plan marks an important step in strengthening Kano State’s readiness to access and effectively manage climate finance, improve coordination, and build a bankable portfolio of climate investment projects.

We appreciate PACE for the continuous technical support and all participating MDAs for their commitment to advancing climate finance reforms in Kano State.

Gwamnatin Jihar Kano ta dage aikin tsaftar Muhalli na karshen wata da aka tsara gudanarwa gobe, 25 ga Oktoba, 2025.

Wannan mataki ya zama dole ne sakamakon gudanar da bikin gargajiya na Hawan Kalankuwa da ya zo daidai da wannan rana. Saboda haka, gwamnatin Jihar Kano ƙarƙashin jagorancin Mai Girma Gwamna, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, ta ga dacewar dage aikin zuwa wani lokaci domin girmama muhimmancin kiyaye al’adunmu na gargajiya, waɗanda su ne ginshiƙin alfaharinmu.

Breaking News

The Kano State Government has postponed the Month-End Sanitation Exercise earlier scheduled for tomorrow, 25th October 2025.

This adjustment became necessary due to the traditional festival performance, Hawan Kalankuwa, which coincides with the same date. In recognition of the importance of preserving our cultural heritage, which remains our collective pride, the government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has rescheduled the sanitation exercise to a later date.

Yanke bishiya ba tare da ƙaida ba yana lalata muhalli, yana haddasa zaizayar ƙasa, ambaliyar ruwa, da ƙarin tsananin zafi a fadin Jihar Kano. Kowace bishiya da aka rasa, asara ce ta inuwa, ruwan sama, da lafiyar muhalli. 🌳💔

Domin magance haka, Ma’aikatar Muhalli da Sauyin Yanayi ta jihar Kano ta ƙarfafa dokar amfani da zarton yankan bishiyoyi masu inji (chainsaw). Sai masu lasisi kawai za su iya amfani da shi, domin kare dazuzzukanmu da tabbatar da dorewar muhalli. Mu yi aiki tare don kiyaye jiharmu.
