I turned around and started walking away. I don't know who they are but, I'm not interested in finding out. I strained my ears to listen and surely, they were approaching me.

I quickened my steps and theirs grew louder behind mine. Finally, I threw all caution into the air and broke into a run.

Behind me, I heard them getting closer and I knew I was no match for their speed or strength.

Before I could think of the next line of action, someone grabbed me from behind. I didn't even bother struggling because I know it's a lost cause.

You can guess the next part.
Yup. I was sedated.

👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself in a king size bed. The room was dimly lit. I sat up rubbing my bleary eyes and that was when I noticed that I was not tied up.

That's definitely to my advantage. I jumped down from the bed to find any escape routes and that was when I noticed that my clothes were changed.

I'd bet anything that I was in a pair of jeans. Now however, I was wearing a black, knee length dress. I looked around and found a mirror and a dresser.

I hurried to it and sure enough, my clothes were changed but, that was not all. My hair was styled beautifully and so was my make up.

I stared at my reflection open mouthed. Before I could comprehend my new look and the reason for it, the door of the room was swung open by one of the men who I'm sure brought me here.

He stared at me and smiled. "Looks like sleeping beauty decided to wake up at last." He drawled and walked up to me.

I stood my ground refusing to back down.

"What so you want from me? And what does all these mean?" I questioned gesturing around.

"Don't worry. You'll find out soon enough but first, we have to tie this around your eyes." He said bringing out a blindfold from his front pocket.

"Are you going to hurt me?" I asked lamely staring at him.

He chuckled. "I that was my plan sweetie I'd have done that while you were sleeping blissfully."

What he said made sense so I shut my eyes and let him render me temporarily blind. Not that I had much of a choice anyway.

He took my arm and stirred me gently out of the room. We walked for a few moments and then I felt us step into an elevator.

As we rode down I couldn't help but ask.

"Is it far? Where we're going that is."

"Oh no. We're almost there." And just then the elevator dinged and opened up.

We walked further for almost three minutes before we stopped.

"We're here." He muttered and I sighed. I can't wait to take the damned blindfold off. Here released his hold on my arm.

"Wait for my signal before you take off the blindfold." He whispered and I nodded.

Slowly, I heard his footsteps retreating.

Just as I started to wonder if all this was not a scheme to get me comfortable with him,I heard him yell, "NOW!" From somewhere behind me.

Overcome by curiosity, I pulled the blindfold off but was met with total darkness.

Suddenly, the lights came on dazzling me. I blinked a few times to adjust to the sudden darkness and that was when I took in the man walking towards me.

It was no other than my husband. Dressed in a gorgeous tuxedo, he was looking breathtaking.

He smiled at me but I was too stunned to return it. The fact that he planned my kidnap is shocking however, I was in for another shock when he got down on his knee before me.

"Tiffany. We had a pretty rocky start. We didn't have a perfect fairy tale wedding but, everyday I've spent with you is better than any fairy tale you can think of.

"I can't imagine my life without you. I don't even want to imagine it because just thinking about it hurts. Our wedding was a bit rushed and unplanned but now, I want to make things right. I want to give you the perfect wedding you deserve. A wedding that you're absolutely sure of. A wedding where you're sober." He paused and chuckled.

"I want you to know that you're stuck with me for the rest of your life and I with you. I want us to build a family with our baby and many more to come."

Tears well up in my eyes and I fight hard to keep them at bay.

"Marry me Tiffany."

I smiled. "What's this? You're not going to ask? You'll just tell me to marry you?"

"That's because there's only one answer babe. And that's yes."

And with that, he slid the ring into my finger and stood up.

I flung myself into his waiting arms and crashed my lips on his.

Suddenly, there was applause from all around the room.

I looked around and found my cunning grand Aunts looking smug among others.

"Those witches." I chuckled.

"None of this will be possible without them. They played their parts perfectly. Come, I have one last suprise for you." He said and pulled me out.

We went into the elevator and he took us to the rooftop. We stood in the chilly night with his arms wrapped around me when suddenly, the still night sky is light up by fire works.

I gazed at it in amazement. My jaw dropped when a set of fireworks spelt; 'HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. "

I turned and gaped at my husband in astonishment.

"Oh my God. I've been so worried about what you and my Aunts were up to that I totally forgot."

"That was the plan." He grinned.

"But I didn't get you anything." I pouted.

"That's okay cause, you've already given me the greatest gift of all. A family."

I stared at the man I love so much and wonder how the heck I became so lucky.

We spent a few minutes just enjoying each other's company and gazing at the fire works.

"Dance with me." He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"But there's no music." I pointed out.

"That's okay. We can dance to the songs of our hearts."

"The things you say." I giggled and we began swaying gently.

I rested my head on his shoulder and let him away me this way and that.

"Tiffany."

"Hmm?"

"I understand if you don't want to go back to Alaska. Name a place and we'll go there. Wherever it is."

His words brought tears to my eyes and this time, I let them flow.

He's willing to leave everything and everyone he has ever known just for me so why can't I do the same for him.

I lifted my head and looked him in the eyes.

"I can be anywhere. Anywhere in the world. As long as I'm close to you, everything is perfect. But I do want us to go back to Alaska. I fell in love with it without even knowing." I stated and he smiled.

"I love you, my drunk bride."

"And I love you more, My Unknown Groom."

And just like that, I knew everything is going to be perfect.

🎲Episode 35🎲

🎉🎉Second to the last episode🎉🎉

💝Tiffany💝

After our lovely meal, Harold and I decided to go sightseeing. Although it was nighttime, I enjoyed every moment of it.

We drove back home around midnight and Harold decided to lodge in a hotel. No matter how much I persuaded him, he refused. I offered to go with with him but he declined.

After some bickering, I decided to let him go.

🎈🎈🎈One week later🎈🎈🎈

It's been one week since Harold came to New York. He has been acting quite strange lately. Not just him but my Aunts too. Everyone is just acting suspicious.

I haven't seen him for the past two days. He always has an excuse and it's beginning to get on my nerves.

I sighed and stared at the empty house. I'm home alone. My Aunts all rushed out claiming to have one thing or another to do.

I tried calling Harold but, he didn't even bother to pick up my calls. I'm beginning to think that he's avoiding me and to make matters worse, I don't even know the hotel he's staying at.

I sighed. I might as well watch a movie. I headed to the kitchen to make some popcorn when I heard the loud shrill of my ringing phone. I sped to it in record time hoping and praying that it was Harold only to see Aunt Lily's name flashing on the screen.

I bit down my disappointment and answer the call.

"Oh dearie what should I do?" Aunt Lily cried from the other end.

"Aunt Lily tell me what's wrong." I demanded softly.

"Bec..." *sniffs" "Becca was involved in an accident. She's in the operation room of an hospital as we speak..." She sobbed.

"Auntie listen to me. Aunt Becca is really strong and she will get through this. Where are you right now? I'll meet you there."

"I'll text you the address now. Please I need you here as soon as possible. My heart feels like it's going to rip apart."

"Don't worry. Please stay strong. I'll be there this instant."

She hung up and almost immediately, my phone vibrated.

I stared at the address and it seemed familiar. Without wasting much time, I rushed out without even bothering to change my sweat pants and oversized shirt. Aunt Becca's health is the only thing that matters right now.

Imagine my luck when I stepped out and found a cab parked by the roadside. I locked the front door in a rush and practically ran to it.

"Take me to this address right now." I yelled tossing him my phone and getting in the backseat.

"But miss I'm on my lunch break."

"Just take me to the damn address. I'll pay you three times your normal fee."

"Uhm...okay." He mumbled and drove off.

~~~~~
"We're there miss." The cabby announced pulling me out from my thoughts.
I sighed and got down. Before I even had the chance to shut the door, he sped off.
I glanced at the disappearing form of the car. He didn't even let me pay.
I shrugged. Now is not the time to thing about his weird behaviour. My Aunts need me.
I glanced around and that was when I took in my surrounding. I was in the middle of nowhere. How did I end up here? I was so engrossed in thoughts that I didn't notice where I was.
I'll just check my phone to find out my location. I slipped my hands into my pockets but it wasn't there. No matter how hard I searched I just couldn't find it.
And that was when I remembered. I tossed my phone at the cabby but, I didn't get it back. That is definitely why he sped off without waiting for his payment.
I sighed. This is bad.
I was still in the middle of assessing my situation when two huge dark figures came out of nowhere. Just their presence sent chills down my spine.
I stared at their intimidating figures and gulped. I'm definitely in so much trouble.
🌺A short story🌺
💫Episode 4💫
🌹Authoress🌹
The courtroom was completely silent. Everyone had their eyes and undivided attention on one woman.
The centre of attention chewed on her bubble gum loudly while making bubbles with it.
"Wow. I sure know how to grab the attention of a lot of people." She smiled haughtily.
She clapped her hand her eyes twinkling. "This is quite interesting. I have never told my story to such a large crowd. I'm honored."
She glanced at a young man who was looking straight back at her.
Her empty eyes that were filled with coldness were instantly replaced by warmth. A warmth only a mother can give go her child.
"I'm sorry son but, I have to do this. If I must relieve those days just to keep you safe then I will do it over and over again." She whispered. But, from the way the young man's eyes filled with unshed tears, it was obvious her knew what she meant.
She broke her gaze from his and her eyes regained it's initial coldness. All traces of warmth gone.
🎀Mabel🎀
I roamed the streets for months. Hunger became my companion. A pregnant woman...er I mean a pregnant girl without proper nourishment. Scratch that. Without food. You can imagine how horrible it was.
Nope. You can't. And that's because I was the one who experienced it and not you. No matter how you try to put yourself in my shoes it won't fit.
At first, I could get menial jobs for little or no payment at all. I would sometimes work from dawn till dusk just for a loaf of bread.
If I was extremely lucky then I would get leftovers.
Staying in the streets was a huge struggle and it became worse after my pregnancy appeared.
It looked huge and hideous on my fourteen year old body.
"No offence baby." I smiled glancing at my son.
Nobody wanted to hire a pregnant adolescent. They couldn't take that responsibility.
People judged me without even knowing me or how I got into such a situation.
To them it was clearly obvious.
The usual stories were; 'Look at that girl go. She's barely twelve. She got pregnant and was kicked out by her parents. She got curious on what only adults were supposed to be doing and it landed her in such a situation. I feel sorry for her though.'
Those were the exact words spoken. They claimed they felt sorry for me but, nobody extended a helping hand. The all avoided me like the plague.
I had no choice. No one to turn to. No shelter. No clothing and worst of all, NO FOOD!
I slept in all sorts of places. Believe me, I would have resulted to stealing but, my enormous belly made it impossible.
I didn't even know how old my pregnancy was. When you haven other priorities, trust me keeping count on a pregnancy would be the last thing on your mind.
I would beg all the time. Every once in a blue moon someone might take pity on me and spare a few coins. If not, then I fed from trashcans battling stray dogs and other animals for rotten leftovers.
I must say, it's a miracle that I survived.
I know what you're thinking. Why didn't I go back and beg my aunt. Right?
Aside from the fact that I swore never to go back; which I meant by the way, I have strayed very far. I had no idea where I was or how I got there. I just knew that everyday was a continuous struggle.
Things turned from bad to worse. I was sure I wouldn't survive the pregnancy. Not only was I malnourished but my unborn child was in serious danger.
You may think that I regretted my decision of keeping my child. Well, you've never been more wrong.
Keeping him was the best decision I ever made then, now and forever.
I woke up on a faithfully day in the dumpster but, I couldn't even move any part of my bruised body.
Moving was already a struggle before but that day, it was impossible.
I screamed and begged but, my cries were ignored. Nobody did anything. Atleast that's what I thought until she came along.
I would call her my knight in shining armour but she's no knight.
I can still remember the exact words she spoke to me even if I was barely able to comprehend my surrounding.
As cliche as it might sound, I swear I saw Heaven's gate flashing before my eyes.
"Oh child are you okay?" I heard an angelic voice asking. I thought I was in heaven because for as long as I can remember, nobody has ever asked if I was okay.
"Dear God. You're in labour." She said in a panicked voice.
I was quite surprised. My baby was ready to come out. I only wished for him to be alive.
I was ready to trade my life for him
And that was my last thought before I slipped into the inviting darkness.
🎲Episode 33🎲
💝Tiffany💝
I stared at him wide eyed as he opened the passenger door of his car and out stepped a blond witch. My bitchy best friend who betrayed me.
I waited for the anger and bitterness I always feel when I see any of my exes to consume me but, to my suprise, I felt nothing.
It was quite shocking because Lan's betrayal had been the worst because my so called best friend was involved.
I sighed and shook my head. I can't let their disgusting presence ruin this night for me and my husband.
"You okay?" Harold asked glancing at me.
"Yup. I've never been happier."
"Me too."
"We'll see about that." I mumbled remembering that I still had to tell him about my pregnancy. I'm sure he will be thrilled.
We passed by Lan and my ex best friend and fortunately, they didn't notice me. They were too busy arguing to.
"Don't look but we just passed by ex number seventeen and my former best friend." I whispered to Harold.
I told him about all my exes and he decided to number them because it was quite impossible remembering their names. Even I could not remember them all.
"Oh, uhm okay." She smiled.
I returned his smile. "Just thought you should know."
"Well, thanks for letting me know." He grinned.
We stepped into the dimly lit restaurant and we were led to and empty booth.
I slid in and Harold sat beside me grabbing my hand and fiddling with my wedding ring.
Candle lights were on the table along with a vase of sweet scenting roses. This was one of the reason why I loved this restaurant. It gives you a romantic feeling.
A waitress came by and offered us menus. I declined and just ordered my favourite.
"I'll have what the lady is having." Harold smiled at the waitress making her swoon.
I rolled my eyes as she scurried off.
"She's completely smitten by you."
"Well too bad. I have eyes for only one woman and she's right here in my arms tonight."
I smiled broadly. He knows how to make a woman feel special.
"I have good news for you." I grinned unable to control the excitement that was bubbling inside of me.
"I can tell." He said with a smile of his own.
"I'm pregnant." I announced still grinning like a cheschire cat.
I watched as his smile grew wider is that was even possible.
"Really? You're not joking right."
"Of course not. Why will I joke with such a thing?"
"Oh baby this is great news."
He pulled me closer and planted a soft kiss on my lips then engulfed me in a hug that was a little awkward because of our sitting position.
"How long?" He whispered still not breaking the contact.
"Eight weeks."
He pulled back then and gazed at my belly. Tentatively, he placed his hand on my tummy.
"Mine." He whispered more to himself.
Someone cleared their throat discreetly and we pulled back to see a quite embarrassed waitress. She was back with our order.
Silently, she set our dishes down and scurried off.
I looked up and regretted it instantly. I realised that Lan and Liza were sitting in the booth opposite ours.
And the worse part? He was looking straight at me.
🎲Episode 34🎲
💝Tiffany💝
"So how'd you locate me? Not that I'm complaining but I'm really curious. I mean New York is really huge." I asked Harold when we were fully settled in the living rooms.i
"A little birdie told me." He grinned then leaning in, he whispered. "In this case it's an old birdie."
I shot him a confused look and his grin only grew wider. Slowly, realisation dawned on me. Surely...
"My grandaunts contacted you didn't they?" I asked although I'm pretty sure I know the answer. I mean, if they found a way to respond to the advertisement that brought us together, then contacting him was a piece of cake.
He nodded with the ridiculous grin still plastered on his face.
"Becky did. She said you had something really important to tell me. So far, I think she's my favourite."
I heard the muffled squeal of Auntie Becca and heard Aunt Lily grumbling a 'Hey!' I needed no soothsayer to tell me that they were eavesdropping but I choose to ignore them. Instead, I raised an eyebrow quizzically at Harold.
"Becky?" I asked surprised.
He shrugged.
"So what did you want to tell me?" He asked and I became nervous instantly. How to say it? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Harold will be delighted by the news but I didn't know how to break it to him.
As if sensing my discomfort, he asked. "How about we go for an evening stroll? Then we can grab dinner on our way back." He suggested and I grinned at him. He knows I love evening stroll. It calms me down but, it's barely enjoyable in all the freezing weather of Alaska.
Jeez, just the thought of Alaska almost dampened my mood. I shook it off immediately. Now's not the time to think about it.
I nodded and smiled. " I'll just go make myself more human." I said and he chuckled his eyes roaming my body. I suddenly felt shy under his scrutiny.
I pointed at the hall way behind me. "Uhm, I'm just gonna..." I bolted to the hallway feeling desperate to escape from his darkening gaze.
Damn if woman, he's your husband. I berate myself mentally.
In the dimly lit hallway, I'm vaguely aware that my Aunts have gathered around my husband bombarding him with questions.
I went into my room and stripped. I really need a shower.
I was showered and decently dressed in records time. I stood in front of the mirror and grinned at my reflection. My face looks radiant and my cheeks had more color and it's all because of him.
Dressed in beautiful black dress that stopped mid thigh, I put on silver coloured stilettos and looped the glistening silver earrings Harold got for me from his visit to Juneau. I wore the necklace around my neck and admired them in the mirror. Hmm, I love it.
Applying some mascara and n**e lipstick, I grabbed my silver purse and was ready to go.
I stepped out of the room and made my way past the hallway, into the living room.
Harold was in the middle of a conversation with my Aunts but he stopped mid sentence when he saw me. His jaw literally dropped to the ground.
My Aunts looked at me their eyes twinkling and I offered them a smile.
"Let's get out of here before we witness something our old eyes are not supposed to see." Aunt Lily whispered not - so - discreetly to her sister who nodded in agreement and left the room one after the other.
"Wow, Fany you look... Wow." Harold fumbled with his words and I couldn't hold back my giggle.
He stood up his intense faze locked on my and slowly, be walked to me. "Are you laughing at me Mrs Newman?" He asked his eyes twinkling with amusement.
I shrugged, " Maybe I am."
He smiled and soon, his lips descended on my. Without hesitation, I kiss him back and reluctantly pulled away when I heard my Aunts arguing behind us. No doubt they were still spying on us.
"Let's get outta here." Harold whispered under his breath and I nodded slowly.
We headed out and I shot the front door behind me and that is when I noticed irt. I hadn't noticed it in my earlier excitement.
"Holy hell Harold. A freaking Ferrari?" I exclaimed. He shrugs.
"I got it from the car rentals. I wanted to impress." He grinned.
I gasped. "Holy hell I wanna ride this baby." I exclaimed excited.
"Then by all mean do." He answered handing me the keys. I squealed and hugged him then dashed to the drivers seat.
Harold opened the passengers side and slipped in.
"Buckle up baby. We're going for a spin." I grin the earlier intended stroll forgotten.
After about thirty minutes of meaningless driving, I pulled up in front of my favourite Italian restaurant. I handed the valet the keys and Harold grabbed my hand.
We made our way to the front of the restaurant but then I saw him.
I froze. Is that Lan?
Just then he looked up and stared at me with a smile that I ones thought was attractive but now, he seems creepy.
"Hey Tiffany."
S**t! It is Lan.
Let me rephrase, it is my psychopathic ex who hooked up with my best friend.
What's he doing here.
I stepped into the waiting room where my Aunts were waiting anxiously. I smiled at them waiting for the questioning to start.
"How'd it go?"
"Is there something wrong?"
"Should we be worried?"
"What'd the doctor say?"
"Why are you grinning like a Cheshire cat?"
My grin only grew wider. I knew this would happen.
"Guys relax. Everything is great. Really great." I giggled.
"She's insane."
"She just met with a doctor and she's trying to make it sound like a good thing."
I chuckled waiting for realisation to dawn on them. And it didn't take long.
"Could it be..." Aunt Lily gasped.
"Yes ma'am, I'm six weeks pregnant." I said in a sing-song waving the envelope at them.
"Oh my gosh." Aunt Maggie and Becca said in unison.
"This is indeed great news."
"We need to celebrate."
"Hold on a minute. How about the father? When are you telling him?" Aunt Lily asked.
S**t! I didn't give it much thought earlier.
"I don't really know." I sighed.
"There are no cell reception there and Im not ready to go back just yet. I need to gather my thoughts. I'll tell him. Eventually." I mumbled the last part to my self.
"Well that settles it then. Let's party." Aunt Becca squealed.
"Aren't you too old to be partying?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"Aren't you too old to be alive?" She retorted making me and Aunt Lily chuckle.
She hooked her arm with mine and we walked out of the hospital while watching Aunt Becca and Maggie banter on the way.
I miss Harold.
.
It's been too weeks. Two long weeks without Harold. I miss him like hell and the lack of communication made it worse. I want to see him really bad but, I'm still not confident enough to go back.
I miss Rhodha too.
I sighed and stuffed my mouth with the burger I was eating. I've been eating - a lot lately.
Just then, the doorbell rang. That must be the pizza I ordered. I grabbed a few dollar bills and headed to the front door. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I look like hell.
I've got ketchup all over my shirt. My hair looks like a birds nest on my head. I tried running my hands through it to tame it but, it didn't work out so I just gave up.
With a sigh, I opened the front door and there stood the most gorgeous man I've ever known.
He stood. Looking so abso-goddamn-lutely breathtaking.
I stared at his clean shaved jaw. He has shaved his gorgeous bears. Too bad. I loved it.
My first impulse was to throw myself into his arms and that is exactly what I did not even caring if I got ketchup all-over his white shirt.
"Oh my God." I gasped when I felt his arms around me.
I hugged him more tightly. "You're really here. You're not a fragment of my imagination."
"Of course I'm here. I'll go to the end of the world if that's where you are."
Holding him right here in my arms, I realised how much I missed him. It reminded me of how much I love this man. And more importantly, I realised that I can't live without him. I don't even want to.
I pulled back slightly and clasped my lips on his.
"Oh yeah, she's got it bad." I hear Aunt Becca whispering behind the door.
And she's right. I've got it bad for this man right here in my arms.
I'll post again tonight so please🙏🙏Like comment and share.
🎲Episode 32🎲
"Congratulations Mrs Newman. You're six weeks pregnant." My doctor said with a smile while handing me the sealed envelope obviously containing the test results.
I sat there stunned not even knowing what to do or say.
Finally, I settled for a big smile.
You're probably confused. How about a little flashback?
🔙🔙🔙Flashback🔙🔙🔙
I got on the plane after my not so emotional departure with Harold.
I sat down and buckled up bracing myself for the journey ahead.
After our arrival to New York city I flagged down a cab since obviously, my Aunts didn't know I was on my way.
When we arrived, I paid the cabby and got down with my very light bag. Harold didn't let me pack much. He said since I won't be long I have no reason to pack much.
I got to the front door and knocked slightly. I could overhear their bicker. Probably aunt Maggie and aunt Lilly are at each other's neck again.
I knocked again. Louder this time and few seconds later, I headed the unmistakable footsteps of Auntie Becca. She has a was of walking that you just know it's her.
"I wonder who is knocking. These old hags rarely have any visitors." I'm sure that was Auntie Lily.
"Makes me miss my dear grand niece more. My poor baby."
Just then, the k**b was twisted and there stood Auntie Becca in all her glory.
Before I could speak or reach for her, she let out a loud shriek. I had to place my hands on my ears. Jeez, how did she manage to produce such a loud sound from her old throat?
"Oh my God. Rebecca are you okay?" Auntie Maggie asked while approaching the front door with Aunt Lily hot on her tail.
She let out a surprised help when she saw me and automatically stopped moving making Aunt Lily collide with her.
"Jeez, gimme a heads up next time. I'm too old to be..." She stopped mid-sentence when she saw me.
"Holy hell." She gasped.
I grinned. "Hi Auntie. I can see that you still cuss."
"Oh my God! She's real." Auntie Becca was the first to recover from her trance.
Before you could say 'Jack' she pulled me in and enveloped me in a bear hug. Slowly, the other two recovered and joind the hug whilst asking me about my well being.
After our very emotional reunion, we settled in the living room to have some afternoon tea.
I sat on a single armchair while they all squeezed themselves into a sofa opposite me.
"So..." Auntie Becca began. She shifted uncomfortably in her chair and I can probably guess what is on her mind.
"You're a married woman now." She mumbled picking at her fingers.
"Yup." I replied popping the 'P'.
"So what is he like? I mean your er, husband." That was Auntie Maggie.
Just the thought of Harold brought tears to my eyes. I miss him and I hate leaving him behind but, I just need time to gather my thoughts and repair my emotional state.
"Oh dear." Auntie Becca whispered sorrowfully and approached me.
"I swear if he did anything to her, I'm flying down to Alaska and hunting him down to make him pay." Aunt Maggie threatened.
I opened my mouth to explain but aunt Lily beat me to it.
"Just so you know honey, this was all Becca's idea. She brought up this crazy plan." She mumbled and despite myself, I couldn't help the smile which I'm sure looks like a grimace.
"Hey! We're supposed to be comforting her not casting blames. It doesn't matter whose idea it was." Aunt Becca defended.
"You guys are getting this wrong. I love Harold and he loves me so much more." I explained.
"Oh!" That was aunt Maggie.
"See, I knew I made the right decision sending her there." Aunt Becca grinned.
"Dummy, why don't you ask her why she is on the verge of tears." Aunt Lily countered. They all turned to me expectantly and I had no choice but to tell them everything.
Aunt Maggie sighed when I was done.
"You didn't just come back to gather your thoughts did you?" She asked softly. As expected, she knew me better than the two others.
"No." I admitted with a sigh.
"I haven't been feeling quite good for
sometime now. I needed a thorough check-up and I couldn't trust their medical facilities there." I explained.
"The first thing tomorrow morning we are going to the hospital. For now tell me how romantic is Harold?" Auntie Becca asked batting her lashes.
I grinned. "The best."
🔚🔚End of flashback🔚🔚
That was how I found myself at the hospital only to receive this shocking news.
I guess its great news afterall.
