XAVIER'S POV
"Ava, are you okay?"I asked her
She stood there still any move. She froze for about 3 minutes.
"What did you just do!" She yelled
"Why would you do that" she said landing a hot slap on my cheek
"It was a mistake Ava, I got carried away" I said regretting my action. Truth be told, I don't know why I kissed her, I just felt like I should. She was just too beautiful to resist.
"A mistake huh?" She asked picking up her bag
" Do you have a boyfriend Ava?" I asked and she paused
"Does that even matter? The deed has been done already, you can't undo it" she said looking pi**ed
"Well, if you do I can help explain to your boyfriend that it was a mistake"
"(Scoffs) there's no need for that. It doesn't even matter"
"Then I'm guessing you don't have a boyfriend. If so why are you mad at me?"
"Cause you ruined everything" she said
"Huh? I don't understand"
"I had this perfect image of how my first kiss should be." She said staring at the celling
"This is your first kiss?" I asked looking very shocked
"Well yes" she said
"You're different" I said to her
"What does that even mean? Anyways, I wanted my first kiss to be special, it should have been with my boyfriend, someone who loves me but you stole it away" she said with an eye roll and I kind of felt bad
"Then be my girlfriend" I said without reasoning
"I could never date someone like you" she said to me and I felt bad
"That's harsh... May I ask why?"
"Well y'all are pl***oys"
"And by 'y'all' you mean?"
"You, Liam, Blake and the rest of the guys in this school. I think Oliver is the only decent person"
"Ava, you see, I can take anything from you but never you compare me to Liam" I said. Why would she?
"Why? Are you not the same? All you rich people feeling like you own the whole world and the ladies in it, that was why you had the guts to kiss me" she said bittered
"This is about the kiss? I thought I apologized already Ava" can't she let it go?
"Apologize? (Scoffs) you call that an apology?"
"What else do you want from me Ava? I admitted that it was a mistake and I'm sorry for it. Should I get on my knees for you?"
"That's the problem with you rich brats, you're never remorseful" she said
"We're not? Didn't I ask you to be my girlfriend?"
"Get this into your head Xavier, I WILL NEVER DATE YOU" she said hands akimbo
"Why? Cause you think I'm I pl***oy? You don't even know me Ava" I said to her. If she was trying to challenge me, I'll gladly accept cause for some reason, I'm falling for her.
" Yes, that and the fact that I'm falling for someone else" she said smiling
"And who could that be? Your masked guy?" I asked and she nodded
"You don't even know him Ava"
"Yes, but I do know he's nothing like you"
"Oh I see. I'm taking you back to school" I said to her
"Why? I thought you said you're leaving in the evening"
" Well I changed my mind" I said and grabbed her hand
"You're hurting me" she squeaked like a child
"Then you had better walk" I said without even staring at her. The entire conversation hurt me and I regretted kissing her.
She sat on the floor and crossed her legs. Is she being serious right now?
"Get up and quit acting like a child"
"I am a child" she said
"Ava get up!" I yelled
"Make me, flirt" she said and I raised her up angrily and she screamed
"This is one of the reasons why I can't date you. You're too serious." She said and I kept mute
"Anyways, I can't walk anymore, I've dislocated my legs" she said hitting me with the puppy dog eyes
"You can't be for reals" I said to her and she wanted to sit on the floor
"Fine...fine... I'll carry you then" I said and carried her in my arms. She behaves like a child
"See, keep on doing things like this and I might reconsider your offer" she said as I walked out of the building
"Don't get used to it" I said opening the car and dropping her at the back seat
"You're a kill joy" she said
"Well that's better than someone killing your hopes" I said, then drove off

AVA'S POV
I was seated at the back of Xavier's car and I know he kept on throwing glances at me
I don't know why he kissed me, and what I still don't understand is why I didn't pushed him away ... My phone beeped and a text message came in, it was from an unknown number. I guess Savior is using another line again
"Meet me at the school's garden whenever you're free" I read... Was he back already?
"Just text me when you're there and I'll meet you. By the way, this is Blake" for some reason I was very disappointed as I read the last statement
I yelled in frustration and Xavier stopped the car and stared at me
"Are you okay?" He asked me, and I could tell he was really concerned
"What? Me? Yea I'm okay, though it's none of your business. Just keep on driving cause it's not like you care"
"I don't know why you keep on saying hurtful things to me but you should stop"
"Why? You never really liked me since the day I stepped into this school"
"Is that what you think? Ava, you don't know me, cause if you do, you'll know there are lot of things bothering me and I honestly don't want you to be one of them. I'm trying Ava" he said and I kind of felt bad about my statement but there was no way I was giving in to this sad story of his. I kept mute and he began driving...
I needed to take my mind off Xavier, so I decided to text Savior
"Are you okay? How's work over there?" I texted. I kept on staring at Xavier, was he serious when he asked me to be his girlfriend? First it was Savior, then Liam calling me beautiful, then Xavier and now the almighty Blake asking me to meet up with him. What is actually going on? Is this all a prank?
My phone beeped bringing me out from my thoughts. Savior texted;
"I'm fine Ava, work is okay though I miss you. Can we talk later? Maybe I'll call you, I'm in a business meeting now"
We finally got to the school and Xavier parked the car. I couldn't tell if the look on his face was that of disappointment or anger.
"You can get down now" he said to me
"Are you serious? Didn't I tell you that I can't walk?" I said to him
He opened the back seat and picked me up with no emotion on his face...
He carried me and walked into the building where our rooms were. As usual students started talking and someone called my name. It was Tessy...
"Please walk faster" I said to Xavier
"Why? Don't you know you weigh a lot? And why are you in a hurry?" He asked
"Just do as I say" I said to him. I really do not have time for her talks right now
"And why should I do that? And are you commanding me?"
"Please Xavier... I'm begging you" I said to him and he smiled
Why was he smiling?
He increased his pace and I was glad
We finally lost trace of her and got to the room. I gave him my key and he opened the door and laid me gently on the bed... He wanted to leave and I held his hand
"Thank you so much Xavier, you're a good friend"
"So now, I'm your friend?"
"You've always been" I said
"Well, I appreciate that and you're welcome. I should leave now, you need your rest" he said and left
Well, he can be nice too. My door flung open and guess who? Yes, it was Tessy
"Girlfriend!" She yelled and bounced on the bed
"Tell em everything, cause I did see you and Xavier. Is he your new boo?" She said happily
She kept on talking for over 20 minutes and I was forced to ask her to leave
"Don't take this the wrong way but I need you to leave" I said to her
"But why?" She asked surprised
"Girlfriend" I said mimicking her
"I need my rest... Like I said I dislocated my knee" o said and she let out an 'oh'
She left the room and after five minutes I heard a knock on the door...thinking it was Tessy, I opened the door without evening asking who it was
"Didn't I ask you to leave?" I said flinging the door open
I saw Xavier standing at the door with a bag in his hand
" Didn't you dislocate your knee? Why do you look fine?" He asked seeing how firm I looked standing and admiring him
"Oh" I said and fell to the ground
