INNALILLAHI WA'INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN.

With deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) extends its heartfelt condolences on the passing of our beloved Bello Muhammed Sharad.

His passing is a painful loss to his family, friends, associates, and the entire community. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this great loss.

May Allah (SWT) have mercy upon him, illuminate his grave, and grant him eternal peace.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP), Kano State Chapter, is pleased to have participated in the Kano Police engagement with political party leaders, contestants, IPAC, INEC, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), and other stakeholders on security sensitization ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

We commend the Kano State Police Command for organizing this important engagement, which provides a platform for political parties and other stakeholders to discuss peaceful elections, security, law and order, and the collective responsibility of all actors in ensuring a credible electoral process.

As a political party committed to democracy, good governance, youth participation, and the rule of law, the YPP recognizes that electoral security is a shared responsibility, We therefore encourage all political parties, candidates, supporters, security agencies, INEC, CSOs, the media, and the electorate to work together to prevent violence, hate speech, intimidation, misinformation, and other actions capable of undermining the peaceful conduct of the 2027 elections.

The YPP Kano State Chapter reaffirms its commitment to issue based campaigns, peaceful political engagement, respect for electoral laws, and the right of every citizen to freely participate in the democratic process.

We believe that Kano State has a long history of political participation and that the 2027 elections should be an opportunity to demonstrate that political differences can be managed through dialogue, tolerance, and respect for democratic institutions.

We appreciate the Kano Police Command and all participating stakeholders for their commitment to maintaining peace and security before, during, and after the elections.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP), Kano State Chapter, remains committed to a peaceful, credible, transparent, and people centred 2027 electoral process.

WORLD YOUTH DAY: YOUNG PROGRESSIVES PARTY (YPP) REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND DEMOCRATIC INCLUSION
​KANO, NIGERIA.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) extends its warmest solidarity and congratulations to the millions of resilient, creative, and courageous young people across the nation and around the world.

​Youth is not merely a transient stage of life it is the vital engine driving economic innovation, social transformation, and political renewal, From technology and entrepreneurship to social movements and governance, young minds continue to demonstrate that they are the architects of modern progress, ​However, as we reflect on the significance of this day, the YPP acknowledges the grave systemic barriers that persist rampant youth unemployment, underfunded educational systems, inadequate political representation, and policies that marginalize the largest demographic segment of our population.

​The leadership of the YPP kano state firmly rejects the narrative that young people are merely the leaders of tomorrow, Young people possess the capacity, intellect, and right to shape policy today, No nation can achieve sustainable prosperity while leaving its youth on the sidelines of governance and economic planning.

​To address these challenges, the YPP demands and commits to the following progressive measures:

​Strategic Youth:

Empowerment: Direct public and private investment into youth entrepreneurship, technical education, and technology driven industries.
​Invasive Political Inclusion: Active implementation of frameworks that guarantee young leaders access to decision making roles within party structures and government institutions.

​Comprehensive Education Reform: Modernizing learning environments, reforming curricula around vocational and technological skills, and fixing systemic funding gaps.
​We urge the youth to resist cynicism and embrace constructive civic action. Your vote, your voice, and your collective engagement remain the most potent tools for dismantling archaic structures and demanding accountability.

A madadin wannan jam'iyya mai Albarka Muna miƙa saƙon ta’aziyyarmu ga iyalan marigayiya, ƴan uwa da abokan arziki, da kuma dukkan mambobin jam’iyyar YPP bisa wannan babban rashi.

Muna roƙon Allah Maɗaukakin Sarki Ya gafarta mata, Ya jiƙanta, Ya sanya Aljannatul Firdausi ce makomarta, Ya kuma bai wa iyalanta da masoyanta haƙurin jure wannan babban rashi.
