OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Young Progressives Party (YPP), Kano State Chapter, acknowledges and accepts the apology tendered by the individual responsible for the unauthorized publication and circulation of a poster falsely presenting himself as an aspirant under the platform of our great party.

The party wishes to reiterate that the said poster was produced without the approval, authorization, or consent of the party leadership, We appreciate the individual's decision to admit the mistake and publicly apologize for his actions.

As a party founded on discipline, integrity, and respect for due process, we consider the matter resolved following the apology and the withdrawal of the misleading publication, We urge all members, supporters, and prospective aspirants to always follow established party guidelines and obtain the necessary approvals before issuing campaign materials or public communications in the name of the party.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) remains committed to transparency, unity, and the promotion of democratic values as we continue to build a stronger and more progressive political movement in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

The attention of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Kano State Chapter, has been drawn to the circulation of information and posters portraying a certain individual as the party's candidate for Gwale Federal Constituency.

We wish to state clearly that the said individual is NOT the official candidate of our party, and any information, poster, campaign material, or publication suggesting otherwise is false, misleading, and should be disregarded by the public.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has established procedures for the nomination and endorsement of candidates, and any official communication regarding party candidates will be released through the appropriate and authorized party channels.

We therefore urge party members, supporters, stakeholders, and the general public not to be deceived by this fake news and to rely only on verified information from the party.
