History Made in the Armed Squad unit of NCoS

Today marks a remarkable milestone in history of the Armed unit with the appointment of CSC Amarachi Njoku as the first female Squadron Commander. She has been appointed as the Squadron Commander, Imo State Command, breaking new ground and setting a powerful precedent for excellence and gender inclusion in service.

Fondly known as the “Iron Lady,” CSC Amarachi Njoku previously served with distinction as the Guard Commander, MSCC Owerri, a position she held for many years with exceptional professionalism and leadership. Her appointment is a testament to her merit, unwavering dedication, gallantry, and consistent hard work in the discharge of her duties.

This historic achievement not only celebrates her personal success but also inspires a new generation of officers within the Nigerian Correctional Service. Congratulations to CSC Amarachi Njoku on this well deserved elevation.
