A Tribute to a Statesman and Mentor: Happy Birthday, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, CON.
Today we celebrate the 63rd birthday of an iconic leader and father figure, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, CON. Born on June 1st, 1964, his life has been a gift of selfless service to the nation. Despite his royal lineage, his early life was shaped by humility and strong values. The loss of his father early in life only strengthened his resolve, molding him into a principled man supported by a loving family.

Since entering the House of Representatives in 2007, he has achieved five consecutive terms in office. His milestones include representing Nigeria at the UN General Assembly in 2016, working as Deputy House Leader (2018–2019), and earning a unanimous 358-vote election as Deputy Speaker in 2019.
In 2022, his dedication was capped with the national honor of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). Rt. Hon. Wase is a detribalized leader who stands for justice and equality.
