WHO'S Dan Bello ?
Dan Bello, also known as Bello Galadanchi, is a Nigerian-American filmmaker and educator with a double major in Bioengineering and Classical History, as well as minors in Film Studies and African Studies.
Born in the U.S., he spent his childhood and early adolescence in Nigeria before returning to the U.S. for university. Holding a degree in Bioengineering, he has worked in various roles.
His early career focused on producing short films. At the age of 24, he garnered recognition for his feature film, "A Dark Place." Known for thought-provoking storylines influenced by his Nigerian upbringing, Galadanchi has also created works such as "Charles in Arms," "Unknowing Separation," "Water for Baby," and "Taken by Storm."
A true inspiration, Bello has excelled as a VOA news anchor, a multimedia independent journalist, and the founder and president of the International Student Union in China. With a PhD in Comparative Education, he is currently designing modern English curriculums in Beijing while passionately simplifying complex topics. Driven by a desire to find solutions, he now creates skits on political issues affecting his country.
Galadanchi currently resides in China, where he teaches at a primary school.
