Breaking News - Cholera Outbreak in Kuta

There is suspected case of cholera outbreak at ISALE OBA KUTA, it has claimed two lives and some were in hospital.

Isale Oba need urgent medical attention.

I want to advise everyone to be very careful.

Exactly 22years ago when Iwo lost one of his great activist and unionist, the father of Aluta, George Akinyemi Iwilade known as Afrika, a socialist and the Secretary General of Obafemi Awolowo University. Since then, the memories has lingered in our heart and spirit of your courage has always enliven us.

When we tell of George Iwilade, we come to the thought of a man who solidly stand for advocacy of masses right and fought against cultism with his last breath. It has gone beyond the tale of how an sponsored squad of 40 confraternity men orchestrated the death of 11 but to the renaissance of the comradeship spirit that will stand for just and advocate for truth.

When individuals abscond from collective social responsibility, we endangers the future of our succeeding generations, and by the way, ours too. We should rather always give a rebirth of a spirit that serves for all and a mindset that revoke evil. When we stand for others, the world will stand for us too and forever.

This day, 10th of July, the Iwoland Students' Union body remembers Comr George Iwilade Afrika and prays for the endless repose of his soul.

Afrika lives on.
