*HON. IJIWOYE OLALEKAN ANGELO ( Ijirity IJIBAMBAM) rolled out CASH PALLIATIVES to party faithfuls at various wards across IFE OOYE LCDA* .

In what appears to be likened to a carnival cm campaign rally, a massive turnout of PDP members at various wards welcomed and celebrated the *SILENT ACHIEVER CHAIRMAN of Ife Ooye LCDA, Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan ANGELO* , as he toured the various wards within his Local Council. This, the ever giving Chairman deemed fit to visit the various wards, to assess the various challenges affecting each wards, and particularly to dole out *CASH PALLIATIVES* to help cushion the effects of the high cost of items in the country.

When asked as to why he embarked on such a tour, the ever vibrant and social Chairman stated, “in all sincerity, I can feel the groanings and pains coming from members of the various communities, concerning the rate of high cost of both perishable goods and other items needed for the sustenance of life and properties. There is hunger in the country, as our people are finding it hard to survive. As a result, I just had to come out and help in the best way I can, not having to necessarily wait for the Council to assist.”

It is no more news that IJIRITY, as popularly referred to, has always been a giver and a philanthropist, a more of an habit he took after his late father, the political sage himself, *Chief Dr. Abiola Ijiwoye, a PDP BOT member until death*. In like manner, ANGELO makes it a point to put a smile on every needy faces he comes across daily. To him, this was not enough because the cost of transport to even get to the Council is exuberant and party faithfuls needing assistance may be unable to make that trip. As a result of this *IJIBAMBAM* decided to bring the good tidings to the political wards under his Local Government.

As at the time of this release, as gathered from the Chairman of Okerewe 3, Mr. Olasunkanmi Oluwaseyi, who confirmed that *Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo has embarked on a monthly financial donation to his ward*, a gesture that’s being enjoyed and appreciated by all the ward stakeholders and members. In reference to this, Ijirity made it clear by saying, “Okerewe 3 is my ward, and I’ve been enjoying the support of the ward ever since I joined the PDP. Ward Leaders like Baba Apesin Olaniyi have been very good to me, advising and encouraging me. One thing I know is that if you’re not good in your ward, you can’t be good elsewhere. As a result, I will continue with my monthly cash donations to my ward” he concluded.

*As welcomed by the Chairman of Okerewe ward 2, Mr. Fatai Faworaja* , and the entire Executives of the ward, Hon. Pastor Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo found solace in the membership as he was met with dances, and songs rented the air. The chants of IJIRITY IJIBAMBAM IJIPOWER can be heard from miles away. This warm reception wooed the Chairman, who started spraying cash as he made his way inside the meeting hall. Having listened to the ward Chairman’s speech and others, Hon. Ijiwoye responded by appreciating the members for the warm reception, assuring them that the Osun State Government, headed by *His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke (IMOLE),* is working assiduously to make sure that the dividends of democracy will continually be administered to the populace. As the Chairman of the Council, he proceeded, “my responsibility as the Council head is to cater to the needs of the communities and wards under my care. Thank God that a great number of you in this ward knows of my commitment to putting smiles on faces, in which some of you have been beneficiaries in the past. I come here today to assist in helping to cushion the effects of high cost of living by doling out cash palliatives. The ones that don’t benefit today will surely do tomorrow, as this will be a continuous exercise throughout my tenure.”

The next stop on the *IJIRITY WARD TOUR*, the following day was *Okerewe ward 1, under the chairmanship of Hon. Akinsolugba Moshood* , who also doubles as a caretaker member at Ife Ooye LCDA. This ward also featured Hon. Yinka Adeniji, Gbogbo Ebe, who is the Vice Chairman at Ife Ooye. At the sight of the Ijirity Tour Convoy, party members went agog, with the women dancing and singing to usher the famous Chairman to the meeting venue. As usually his style, Ijirity sprayed cash while making his way into their midst. Once again, the chanting of *IJIRITY IJIBAMBAM IJIPOWER* rented the air, Hon. Ijiwoye joyfully appreciated by greeting and hugging ward members. After engaging the members with the popular, “ *PDP! Power to the people* “, the Council Boss immediately tendered his displeasure of the ward not having a meeting hall, in which he called the attention of the stakeholders and promised to assist in securing a suitable meeting hall. Having heard form the ward chairman, youth leader, women leader, and others, Hon. Angelo appreciated them and assured them of the benefits coming from the Adeleke led Government. He further stated, “let’s keep praying for our Governor and the Government as a whole, that God will uphold them in the discharge of their duties. I appreciate the leadership of our party for counting myself and others worthy to represent our various Councils. Much appreciation to the leadership under the amiable Leader of note and political sagacity, *Professor Adewale Oladipo, Molodo 1* . His leadership prowess which allows us to tap and drink from his cup of wisdom is what has kept the party alive and well. God bless the leader for us.” In the meantime, the tour continues as the able Chairman is geared to dole out more cash palliatives.

Finally, it should be noted that prior to the said tours, in the spirit of trying to pave ways on how our people can benefit from the Government, *Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan ANGELO met and had a lengthy meeting with ALL the ward Chairmen representing the 7 wards; that is, 3 wards from Ife East LG and the 4 wards from Ife Ooye LCDA* . The said meeting brokered the need to tour all the wards, in which the ward chairmen appreciated the warm reception accorded to them, especially for the thought of meeting with them.

The Chairman, Ife Ooye LCDA Hon Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo has congratulated Nigerians on the 63rd independence anniversary of the nation.

Hon. Ijiwoye felicitation was contained in a statement personally signed by himself this morning. the Chairman implored Nigerians not to give up despite the Country's current dire circumstances. He urged Osunans and other Nigerians to support governments at all levels in their quest to salvage the nation and its economy.

Hon. Ijiwoye said: _"On behalf of myself and people of Ife Ooye LCDA, I congratulate Nigerians as we celebrate the 63rd anniversary of our Country’s independence"._ _“I send my warm felicitations to the Osun State Governor and the people of Ile-lfe on this year’s independence anniversary". “Nigeria has been a source of inspiration for the rest of Africa for 63 years; thanks to the creativity and diversity of its people and its extended period of democratic governance"._

"I have a lot of faith that our Country's democratic system of government will keep growing stronger". “As an administration, it is on record that in the past one and half months, we have taken steps to make life more meaningful for all and sundry, especially in times of total well being of my people.

*2023 ÒLÒJÓ FESTIVAL: The Chairman, Ife Ooye LCDA Eulogised Ooni Ogunwusi For Reshaping The Annual Cultural Event Into A Tourist Attraction For People Around The World.*

In a statement personally signed in his country home this morning. The Chairman said, Olojo festival is an annual event on the cultural calendar of the ancient city of Ile-Ife, to celebrate a progenitor of Yoruba race, and to pray for peace, tranquility and prosperity of the city of Ile-Ife, Yoruba nation and the country at large.

Olojo remains an inspiring spiritual noble cause and a priceless inestimable gift to the world from Eledumare. Olojo festival where Oonirisa adorned the sacred oldest crown of Oduduwa was heroic, pivotal and compelling moment as it comes with boundless blessings of the restoration of the glory of Oduduwa descendants, Nigeria, Africa and the black race.

Hon. Ijiwoye went on to promise to continue to ensure that dividends of democracy get to all the nooks and crannies of lle-lfe. Olojo festival has become a heritage not only to the Ile-lfe, but to the entire Yoruba Nation in Nigeria and in the Diaspora and Ife people were known for promoting culture and also being industrious.

According to him, “The natural tendency for religious tolerance among the Ile-lfe and indeed Yoruba generally, has made Olojo to evolve into a social event uniting all Ife sons and daughters regardless of religious inclinations, political persuasions or social class. There is hardly any Yoruba family today which is either totally Muslim or totally Christian". "Every family in the Yoruba nation has a fair mix of both religions with some embracing the African Traditional Religion without prejudice.” Ijiwoye added.

Eid-El-Maulud: *Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo* felicitates Muslims, seeks prayers for nation's progress.

*The Chairman Ife Ooye LCDA, Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo* has urged Muslims in Nigeria to pray for the country's peace, unity, and growth, as Muslims celebrate Eid-El-Maulud, the birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

In a statement personally signed this morning at his country home in lle-lfe, the Chairmen urged Muslim adherents to follow the exemplary leadership and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad by promoting peaceful co-existence among fellow osun citizens.

Hon. Ijiwoye particularly advised Muslims and other religious groups to start regular prayers for the necessary changes to make Osun a better place. He urged Osun indigenes and residents alike to avoid all divisive inclinations and seek to improve their State, noting that the commemoration of the Holy Prophet's birth should reaffirm the importance of unity in the face of diversity.

The Chairman, Ife Ooye LCDA, Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan Angelo received congratulatory visit from Grassroot Mobilizers. The group paid him a visit and also pledged their full support in any capacity. The Chairman lauded the group and charged them to continue to mobilize for the party.

The group leader, Alfa Azeez Rafiu who spoke on behalf of the group commended the council boss for his prompt action on the development of the local government. Azeez Rafiu stated that their members, comprised of Graduates, Students and artisans that requires jobs and contract. He pleaded to the council boss to look into their demands and help in any area they fit in to.

In his response, Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan said, _"l thank you all for your visitation, and all the areas mentioned will be looked into. l am assuring you of my total support and you're not going to be left out in any of our programs and employment". *The Ife Ooye LCDA Chairman, Hon. Olalekan Angelo Ijiwoye was among the invited guests on the OSBC 104.5 “Elaloro” radio show* at Osogbo. It was actually an impromptu arrangement because it was the Osun ALGON Chairman, Hon. Safarudeen Awotunde (Spain) that was initially scheduled to appear on the show.

For reasons known to the ALGON Chairman, deemed it fit to specially request that three (3) out of the 69 Local Government/LCDA Chairmen across the State accompany him to the said radio show. The 3 were the vibrant Hon. Olalekan Angelo Ijiwoye from Ife Ooye LCDA, Hon. Haruna Oluwabukola Odunyemi from Ife East main Council, and Hon. Alade Ibironke (Dangote) from Atakumosa. Also in tow was the ALGON Vice Chairman, Barr. Rotimi Adeyenuwo. The said show was premised on the activities of the Osun State Government, with discussions ranging from the unprecedented performances of the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, and the distribution of palliatives in the state.

It was obvious that the ALGON Chairman had been taking note of the performances of the Ife Ooye LCDA Chairman, Hon. Ijirity, to deem it fit to have him accompany him to the radio show. It’s no more news that *IJIBAMBAM* has been a guest on some radio shows recently, and have embarked on various projects in just less than a month in office, especially sinking a Borehole after 2 weeks in office.

Glory be to God Almighty GOD, for His mercies endureth forever. Let’s start by thanking God for the inaugural ceremony of our able Executive Chairman of IFE OOYE LCDA, *HON. OLALEKAN IJIWOYE*.

Uncountable individuals have been trooping in to celebrate and welcome our indefatigable Chairman. In return, he has been receiving the guests with a warm reception and hospitality.

Part of the guests includes the ROAD TRANSPORT WORKERS’ EXECUTIVES, led by their Chairman, KOLAWOLE KEHINDE AND The FARMERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA was led by their Chairman, Madam Williams. In both meetings, they pleaded for the support of the new Caretaker Committee Members, headed by the Chairman, Hon. Olalekan Ijiwoye. They also promised to be a good partner in progress by abiding by the laid down rules and regulations.

*HON. OLALEKAN ANGELO IJIWOYE: A Talk and Do humanitarian sinks a Borehole*

It should be clearly noted that the new *CHAIRMAN* of Ife Ooye LCDA, Hon. Olalekan Angelo Ijiwoye (Ijirity IJIBAMBAM) is not really interested in condemning or trying to fault the performances of the past Chairmen of Ife Ooye Local Council Development Area, but it should be made aware and known that since the establishment, construction, and several years of usage of the Local Council by the APC led Government, *THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY WATER SUPPLY WITHIN THE PREMISES*, not even a well. It now poses the question as to how possible it is to survive such inhumane negligence. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to dig just a well, even sink a borehole. *Every single APC Chairmen that have at one time or the other ran the Council refused to provide water to the workers, guests, even themselves*. It was gathered that whoever had to defecate either go outside the premises, and in some cases make use of the surrounding bushes. This is a crime against humanity, and ought to be condemned.

This development broke the heart of Hon. Olalekan Angelo Ijiwoye, the Chairman, and his team. In his remarks, he voiced out his dissatisfaction that “I have never in my life seen or heard of an institution like a Local Government Area or Council secretariat without water supply. How did the occupiers cope with this inhumane treatment of the highest order?“ Having expressed his disappointment in the past Chairmen, he vowed to sink a Borehole at the next opportunity, even if he had to do it with his own personal money. *“This is not fair to the workers, and I will not allow this to go on unchecked”,* he lamented.

As result, and unexpectedly, the already performing and zealous Chairman, Hon. Ijirity has kept his promise after less than 2 weeks in office. *A STATE OF THE ART BOREHOLE WATER SYSTEM HAS BEEN SUNK WITHIN THE PREMISES OF THE LCDA SECRETARIAT TODAY*. This is unprecedented as he is the first Chairman among the newly appointed Caretaker Chairmen across the State, to sink a Borehole Water System. This initiative will not only benefit the LCDA, but the general public, as everyone within the axis will have direct access to the water supply. The date of the official commissioning will be announced in due time.
