Today, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA complete unveiling and affirmation as the APC Consensus Candidate for Ogun 2027 Governorship race with my presentation by Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR to the APC stakeholders and leaders in Ogun Central Senatorial District.

Dignitaries at the event include Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, deputy Governor of the state, Alhaji Yemisi Sanusi, the APC State chairman, Prince Segun Adesegun, former deputy governor of the state, Rt. Hon. PRESS STATEMENT

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State Chapter, hereby notifies all aspirants who have been cleared to participate in the forthcoming primary elections across the various categories to submit the names of their designated agents and campaign posters to the Organising Department at the Party State Secretariat.

In line with the guidelines approved for the conduct of the primaries, each aspirant is required to submit:

One (1) campaign poster per ward

One (1) agent per ward

All submissions must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled date of the respective primary election.

This directive is mandatory for all cleared aspirants, as it is aimed at ensuring proper coordination, effective planning, and the smooth conduct of the party’s primary elections across the state.

Aspirants are therefore advised to strictly comply within the stipulated timeframe.

Ahead of APC primaries, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA have the honour of being presented by His Excellency Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR to APC Stakeholders in Ogun West Senatorial District as the Consensus Candidate for the 2027 Governorship election at a Stakeholder and Strategic Meeting in Ilaro, Ogun West Senatorial headquarters.

Among dignitaries that attended the meeting were Alhaji Yemi Sanusi, APC State Chairman, Deputy Governor of the state, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Dr. Kunle Isiaq Salako, minister of state for health and social services, Alhaja Salmot Badru, former Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, Senator Akin Odunsi, Senator Gbolahan Dada, Honorables Abiodun Akinlade, Gboyega Isiaka, Tunji Akinosi, Chief Iya bo Apampa, Alhaji Musbau Ajibola, Chief Olu Agemo and a host of serving and former top government officials from Ogun West Senatorial District.

Today Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA was screened and cleared as the APC Consensus Candidate for Ogun 2027 at Kaduna Governor Lodge Asokoro, Abuja by the Dr. Obi Okoye, APC Deputy National Chairman (South) led Governorship Screening Committee.
Members of the Committee including Hon. Durosimi Meseko, APC National Deputy Publicity Secretary and Mr. Abdullahi Dayo Isreal, APC National Youth Leader and Hon. Tolu Bankole took turn to commend me as a model for APC in my developmental activities in government and in party affairs. I pledged to continue my good works for the development of Ogun State and APC as a progressive party working for laudable reformist national goals.
I was accompanied to the screening venue by a powerful delegation from Ogun State and Abuja including Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Ogun State Deputy Governor, Hon. Kayode Amusan, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat (Gaco), Ogun State Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon.Olabimtan, the Ogun State Commissioner of Budget and Planning, Hon. Kunle Adeyemi, Hon. Babatunde Adejare,Hon. Otun Kope, Hon Kolawole Moboluwaduro(KLM), Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, Hon Lai Taiwo
