The energy, the “sheer resilience”, and the unbreakable can-do spirit of a Lagosian is next to none, a truth powerfully captured by H.E. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.👌🏽

It’s this very energy that fuels the boundless talent, creativity, and innovation our people are known for worldwide. 🌍 ✨

Let’s take this charge into the new week. Keep pushing boundaries, keep creating, keep innovating, and owning the unique identity that defines us.

Our sheer resilience is our leverage! 💪🏽🏙️

Preventing flooding is most effective when we use nature-based solutions. 🌳

Aside from bearing sumptuous fruits and food, trees act as natural sponges, absorbing heavy rainfall and stopping water from overflowing into our streets. Beyond managing water, the green spaces in our neighborhoods serve as natural buffers that clean our air and cool our environment.

Remember: Don’t just plant any tree, plant those that bear fruits and food as well! 🌳🍊🥭😊

What are you planting this season? 👇

The character we cultivate in our boys today secures the foundation for stronger families and communities tomorrow.

True resilience is the courage to lead with empathy. Let’s guide our young men to become the innovators, protectors, and leaders a Greater Lagos deserves.

Happy International Day of the Boy Child! 🌟

Water is a precious resource that we must protect, and how we use it is a responsibility we all share. 💧🏙️

Every drop saved strengthens our city, and simple actions like fixing leaks and turning off taps—rather than leaving them running when not in use—make a real difference for everyone. 🛠️🚰

Do you practice water-saving habits at home?
