His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye Asoroolu Ayinla V, The Olu of Igbo-Ora Land, Permanent Chairman, Ibarapa Central Traditional Council, and Deputy Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, has extended his warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to Muslim faithful in Igbo-Ora, Ibarapa Land, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Kabiesi commended the Muslim Ummah for their devotion, discipline, and spiritual commitment throughout the Ramadan period. He noted that the virtues of patience, sacrifice, humility, love, and generosity demonstrated during the fasting season should be sustained and reflected in their daily lives for the continued growth and unity of society.
The revered monarch charged Muslim faithful to use the opportunity presented by the Eid-el-Fitri celebration to continually seek the face of Almighty Allah for divine guidance, peace, and prosperity. He further urged them to offer fervent prayers for the leadership and development of Oyo State under the administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, and for the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria as a whole.
Oba Asoroolu Ayinla V also emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence among all religious and ethnic groups, calling on residents to remain their brother’s keeper and promote harmony within their communities. He encouraged the spirit of giving by urging the faithful to extend love and support to the less privileged through acts of charity, in line with the teachings of Islam.
Kabiesi advised residents to celebrate responsibly and remain security conscious. He urged everyone to be observant, pay close attention to their environment, and promptly report any suspicious movement or activity to the appropriate security agencies, in order to ensure the safety of lives and property during and after the festivities.
His Royal Majesty concluded by praying that the blessings of Ramadan and the joy of Eid-el-Fitri bring renewed hope, sound health, and abundant blessings to all, while fostering lasting peace, unity, and development in Igbo-Ora Land, Ibarapa Region, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
