GENERAL REGULATIONS
General Admission Requirements
a) Candidate must have five(5) credit passes including English language and Mathematics and one science subject at O’level in not more than two sittings;
b) Candidate must have completed, and obtained NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Basic Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Diploma Programme.
The following may apply for admission into the postgraduate Diploma Programme;
I) a candidate with at least 3rd class degree in any field.
ii) Candidates who hold good grades in non-first degree qualifications which are acceptable to the university that may include HND, FIRST, HMLT, ACA, AIB etc. Candidates with Lower Credit in the qualification will be required to have at least 5 years relevant working experience to qualify for consideration for admission.
iii) Request for academic transcript to be delivered to the Secretary Pg school.
Basic Admission Requirements for Masters Degree Programme.
The criteria for admission into the masters degree programme is as follows;
i) matriculation requirements for individual universities which must be five (5) O’level credit including English Language and Mathematics.
ii) candidates with 2nd Class Lower Division (i.e 2.5 on 5.0 point scale) from an approved university.
iii) candidates with a PGD at Credit level pass (i.e 3.0 on 5.0 point scale) or 60% on weighted percentage average.
iv) Request for academic transcript to be delivered to the Secretary School of Postgraduate Studies of the institution.
Basic Admission Requirements for Doctor of Philosophy Programme.
The criteria for admission into the Ph.D programme is as follows;
i) matriculation requirements for individual universities which must be 5 O’level credit including English Language and Mathematics.
ii) candidates with a Masters degree with CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 point scale or 60% on weighted percentage average.
iii) All candidates must have scored B in dissertation.
iv) Request for academic transcript to be delivered to the Secretary School of Postgraduate Studies of the institution.
