SABIGANNA HOSTS CAN ON NEW YEAR SPECIAL PRAYER.

The Bible says;
"Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven" -Matt.18:19.

In accordance with the above allusion,HRM. Oba(Diamond ) Saliu Oyemonla, Azeez, Agunloye IV, Ayefemiloye I, Sabiganna of Iganna kingdom hosted the Christian Association Nigerian (CAN) for their annual fellowship and prayer service at his palace yesterday.

The service came up in the evening time and it was a full fledged prayer session. Sermon was given on the fear of eternity and the reason for love,unity and peaceful co-existence in our community.
Also, prayer session was taking which centered on the growth and progress of Iganna town, Oke-Ogun and Nigeria at large.

At the end of the service,His Royal Majesty gave a remark. He appraised the CAN leadership for their commitment and ability to uphold religious harmony in the community.
He affirmed a peaceful society as the interest of our Creator just as it was stated in the Holy Bible;
"How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity"- Psalm 133:1.

He thereby implored parents to accept the responsibility their children as an inalienable task nature has placed on them and make sure their parental roles are well played in order to have a sustainable environment in future.

SABIGANNA LAUDS EGBE ODO OMO YORUBA TI OGA JULO ON SOCIO-LINGUAL CULTURAL RENAISSANCE.

Yesterday, our Youths-friendly father,HRM. Oba(Diamond) Saliu Oyemonla Azeez, Agunloye IV, Ayefemiloye I,Sabiganna of Iganna attended the Annual Lecture of the Apex Body of Yoruba Youth Forum that took place at Aleshinloye, Ibadan.

In his brief speech,he acknowledged the ceaseless efforts being made by the members of the platform to put Yoruba heritage on the National and Global map and equally admonished them to remain united, resolute, and resilient in doing the arduous task of socio-lingua cultural renaissance.

Also,he extended his Royal benedictions to the members and pledged his support both in kind and cash. This,according to him is in tandem with the primary role of the traditional rulers as custodians of culture and tradition .He submitted that we should be proud of our cultural identity at all times.

SABIGANNA ATTENDS NSCDC PROMOTION CEREMONY, COMMENDS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND EXTOLS OYO STATE COMMANDANT.

Yesterday,The Permanent Chairman,Iwajowa Traditional Council; HRM Oba(Diamond) Saliu Oyemonla Azeez,Agunloye IV,Sabiganna of Iganna kingdom attended the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) promotion ceremony as a special guest of honour, where he delivered a speech commending the Federal Government for promoting the officers. He noted that this gesture would motivate them to be more diligent, especially during this time of security challenges.

He also praised the Oyo State Commandant for being down-to-earth and fostering harmonious relationships between the NSCDC and other security agencies. Oba Saliu emphasized the importance of collaboration among security agencies, particularly in today's security architecture.

Addressing the newly promoted officers, His Royal Majesty charged them to be more vigilant and dedicated in their duties. He encouraged them to justify the promotion by demonstrating exceptional performance and commitment to service.

In conclusion,he wished the newly decorated officers success in their careers, urging them to continue making valuable contributions to the NSCDC and the nation.

Last Saturday,The Permanent Chairman,Traditional Council Iwajowa Local Government;HRM. Oba(Diamond) Saliu Oyenmonla Azeez,Agunloye IV,Sabiganna of Iganna was co-hosted along side Distinguished Senator Diket Plang of Plateau Central, Alh. Yusuf Dantali,the National Chairman of Inter party Advisory Council and some other important personalities at the FRCN Abuja for the Special Edition of Radio Link tagged "NIGERIA AT 64".

His Royal Majesty and his co-guests exercized statemen duty in the studio as they carefully x-rayed and reflected on the journey of Nigeria right the Independence Day till date.

His Royal Majesty,from his Socio-historical acumen,shared some fundamental facts about the state of the country from Oct 1, 1960 till present moment. He delved into the discussion by regarding the history of Nigeria as a sobber reflection. He imaged Nigeria as a 64years old man that is still at crawling stage.

He stretched to describe Nigeria as a country that is moving at a very slow paste but has the tendency of getting to the promise land with time.
He further implored Nigerians to be objective in criticizing the government.

_SABIGANNA RECEIVES RENOWNED DR. ABDUL-AKEEM WITH ECSTASY._

Yesterday,His Royal Majesty,Alh. Oba(Diamond) Saliu Oyemonla Azeez,Sabiganna of Iganna played an host to Fadeelat Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Lateef Abdul-Akeem (Hon. Yepe) at the Iganna Muslim Community Public Lecture which take place at Iganna Town Hall.

His Royal Majesty,who graced the program in person, expressed his pleasure to receive such an erudite Islamic Scholar in Iganna town and acknowleded his visit as a blessing.

In his welcome speech;
Oba Saliu returned exaltation to Almighty God for making the program turned out as planned and extended appreciation to Fadeelat Sheikh Abdul-Akeem Abdul-Lateef for granting the inviting of the body as the Guest Lecturer for the program,describing his attention as a scarce phenomenon that cannot be monetized. He therefore stated the need to appreciate his gesture of high modesty.

Subsequently,through the Chief Imam of Iganna land,His Royal Majesty sent kudos to the Muslim Leaders who were present at the program for their conscious effort to bring up the program and invite a quality guestlecturer.

Lastly,he congratulated the entire Muslim residents in Iganna for the successful actualization of the program and seek peace upon all the souls of all departed Islamic fathers in Iganna and ask for the continuity of their legacies.

OKEHO-IGANNA ROAD CONSTRUCTION:SABIGANNA HAILS SENATOR BUHARI.

The Permanent Chairman,Traditional Council,Iwajowa Local Government; HRM. Oba(Diamond) Saliu Oyemonla Azeez,Agunloye IV,Ayefemiloye I,Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom expressed his unqualified gratitude to our Distinguished Senator, Abdulfatai Buhari Phd. over the prompt commencement of the Okeho-Iganna road construction as approved by the Federal Government recently. Sabiganna also extends his deepest appreciation to the senator for his remarkable efforts at facilitating the aged-long dream of the good people of Iganna on construction of the delapidating road.

His Royal Majesty emphasized that this road has been a long overdue project neglected by the previous administrations and the people of Iganna (both Home and Diaspora) feel elated that the present administration under the able Leadership of His Excellency,President Bola Ahmed Tinubu consider it germane to do what the people of the area need most at this point in time.
This road,apart from being the access that links the two major Local Governments in Oyo state,that is, Kajola and Iwajowa Local Governments;it is also an ECOWAS road because it connects Oyo State,and nay,Nigeria with the neighbouring Benin Republic. The importance of the road cannot be overemphasized because it will improve considerably socio-economic development of the area in terms of haulage of food crops,timber,charcoals, and other needed materials which are produced in the area.This will contribute in no small measure to the growth of the GDP in the country.

Besides,the construction of road will reduce crime rate in the area. These will make the area attractive to the investors who can engage in any legal businesses such as; Agro-businesses,Cottage Industries,Mining and so on due to the availability of massive land in the area.

However,as we believe that the present administration policy thrust is quality job,we wish to urge our performing Senator to ensure proper supervision of the project so that the scarce resources spent could be justified.
We want to assure the government that the people of Iwajowa Local Government shall remain loyal,patroitic,law abiding and supportive to the present administration.

Finally,the people of both Local Governments are enjoined to extend hands of fellowship and hospitality to the workers on site as the people of Oke-Ogun are generally known as for hospitality and accommodation of visitors. This will motivate the workers to do their job excellently well.

Earlier today,the Community Outreach for Health and Education and Awareness organized by the John Oyediran Olabisi Foundation(JOOF) in memory of our beloved son of the soil,Late Dr. Diran Olabisi was graced by His Royal Majesty,Oba (Diamond)Saliu Oyemonla Azeez,Agunloye IV,Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom.

The program aimed to give community people elementary knowledge on the merits of personal hygiene and the danger dirts in the society which is a reliable way to prevent illness.

His Royal Majesty, in his remark,described Late Dr. Diran Olabisi as Moon or Star in the Sky which its brightness is being enjoyed by multitude. He also similized him to a sole tree on a desert which its shade is being enjoyed by all and sundry.
He therefore established the fact that Late Dr. Olabisi has successfully immortalized himself right from his lifetime and asked God to grant his humble soul eternal rest.

Lastly,he extended his sincere appreciation to Dr. Mrs. Olabisi for being a genuinely supportive wife before and after her husband’s demise.
Then,he hereby declared the program opened.
