2027: The Mission to Reclaim Oyo Begins!

Yesterday in Ibadan, over 10,000 APC faithful from Ido Local Government stood in unity, strength, and purpose as we officially inaugurated the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), a grassroots-driven movement committed to championing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and returning Oyo State to the path of progressive governance under the APC banner.

We believe that real development, in infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and industry, can only be fully realised when our state aligns with the Federal Government. That’s why 2027 is not just another election year. It’s a turning point.

No more missed opportunities. No more sidelined projects. No more disconnect between state and centre.

Together, we will reignite APC’s dominance in Oyo, mobilise from the ground up, and return to power with renewed strength and purpose.

This is not politics as usual, this is about building a culture of fairness, transparency, and accountability. With the support of our traditional leaders, market men and women, and everyday citizens, our movement is unstoppable.

To empower our people further, we have launched a N50 million economic support initiative to boost small businesses across the constituency. Prosperity must begin with the people.

It was a privilege to visit the Isokan Ere-Ododo Muslim Co-operative & Credit Society in Ido Local Government, where we had a truly meaningful discussion about the importance of grassroots mobilisation and active political involvement.

During the visit, I had the opportunity to share the vision of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), a collective effort committed to securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the continued success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.

I am immensely grateful to the ROCOF leadership and all members for their relentless dedication, hard work, and sacrifice. Your passion and commitment are a constant source of inspiration to me. To all APC supporters, let us continue to stand united and focused.

My good people, I would like to address the recent rumours regarding my intentions for the 2027 governorship race in Oyo State. A group calling itself Igba Otun has made a false and malicious claim, suggesting that I have asked Senator Teslim Folarin and Chief Adebayo Adelabu to step aside for me.

Let me clarify: I have no association with this group or their misleading statements. I hold both Senator Folarin, my elder brother and mentor, and Chief Adelabu, my younger brother and close friend, in the highest esteem.

My focus remains on my legislative duties and the development of our constituency. I am committed to unifying our party, especially during these challenging times. This kind of divisive propaganda only serves to undermine our collective efforts.

I urge everyone to disregard the statements from these faceless individuals seeking to sow discord. Together, let’s prioritise unity and progress for Oyo State!
