Today, I had the distinct honor and privilege of visiting the residence of Honourable Justice Musa Muhammad Song (Rtd.), the Grand Kadi, Sharia Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Hon. Justice Musa Muhammad Song (Rtd.) is not only a revered jurist of impeccable integrity and vast experience but also a mentor, a true teacher, and a father figure whose life exemplifies humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to justice and service.
Our interaction was profoundly enlightening and deeply inspiring. I was privileged to receive invaluable words of counsel, guidance, and encouragement that have further strengthened my resolve to pursue excellence in both character and professional aspiration. His emphasis on discipline, sincerity of purpose, and the moral responsibility that comes with knowledge and leadership resonated deeply with me.
As an aspiring counselor, the advice I received has broadened my perspective on the importance of empathy, ethical conduct, and continuous learning in the service of humanity. Justice Song reminded me that true success lies not merely in achievement, but in the positive impact we make on others through wisdom, humility, and dedication to truth.
I remain profoundly grateful for the rare opportunity to learn directly from such a distinguished personality whose life continues to be a beacon of inspiration to many within and beyond the legal profession.
