*Verification Screening Exercise Ongoing for Staff of Public Complaints Commission, Gombe*
The Public Complaints Commission, Gombe State Office, has commenced a verification screening exercise for its staff as part of the ongoing efforts by the Commission to ensure accountability and improve service delivery nationwide .
The exercise, which began
Earlier today at the Commission’s state headquarters in Gombe involved physical verification of employees records, credentials, and biometric data ,of all staff across various departments and Area Offices.
Addressing the staff before the commencement of the exercise, Hon. Bashir Mohammed Bose, the Honourable Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Gombe State Office , noted that the screening is a routine measure aimed at updating staff records, eliminating irregularities, and strengthening the Commission’s capacity to serve the public effectively.
“The verification is not a witch-hunt, but a necessary step to ensure only genuine staff are on our payroll. It also help us identify training needs required to build staff capacity".
He urged all staff to cooperate fully and provide accurate information to ensure a smooth process.
The Staff were seen complying with the process in an orderly manner and presenting relevant documents for authentication by the Officials.
The exercise is expected to be concluded by end of the day .
