Hon. Ibn Jaks Facilitates Skill Acquisition Training for 200 Farmers and Artisans in Bade/Jakusko

In a significant move to empower local farmers and artisans, Hon. Hassan K. Jakduwa (IBN JAKS) has facilitated a comprehensive skill acquisition training program under the Industrial Training Fund (ITF). The initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of 200 participants in animal rearing, poultry production, fish farming, furniture making, and Paris POP.
The training, held in the Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, underscores the commitment of Hon. Jakduwa to fostering sustainable development and economic self-reliance within the community. By equipping individuals with practical skills and knowledge, this program seeks to improve livelihoods and stimulate local economic growth.
Speaking at the launch event, Hon. Jakduwa highlighted the importance of skill acquisition in tackling unemployment and boosting productivity.

In a bid to cushion the effect of subsidy removal on petroleum, the lawmaker representing, Bade/Jakusko federal constituency,Hassan Jakduwa KaiKaku, has Sunday, flagged off the distribution of assorted food items and NPK fertiliser to his constituents in Yobe State.

Speaking at the flagging off the distribution of the food items and fertiliser held at Gashua, Hassan Jakduwa, said that,not less than 3,210 people in his constituency have been targeted as beneficiaries of the palliatives measure across 22 wards of Bade and Jakusko Local Government Areas.

Represented by Mallam Salisu Jawi, Hassan stated that the distribution of the food items as palliatives is to alleviate the suffering of the people of the constituency due to the high cost of living experienced in the country as a result of removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

“The food items Compresses of Millet,Maize, Sorghum,Beans and MPK fertiliser with the sole aimed to cushion the hardship as a result of the regulation policy introduced by federal government of Nigeria,” he said.

On his part, the chairman palliatives distribution committee, Mr Yusuf Ibrahim, said they have allocated 1,605 bags of assorted foods items and fertiliser to Bade and Jakusko federal Constituency as directed by the lawmaker.

“Each of the wards have allocated 145 bags of food and fertiliser and each of the wards have collected 40 bags of millet,40 bags of maize,40 bags of Sorghum,20 bags of beans,and 5 bags of fertiliser making 145 bags per wards.

“As PDP, our style of distribution of the palliatives is different and we have emulated it from our mentor,Hon Mallam Hassan Jakduwa, because this had been part of his character for over decades,he carries every body along in respective of tribe,religion and party, he directed us to share the food items among every body in his Constituency in respective of party.

“The lawmaker Hassan Jakduwa KaiKaku,he advised the beneficiaries to use the items given to them judiciously for making food in the house,” he said.
