Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.

I received with deep sadness the news of the passing of an elder statesman and respected leader from Bade West, Hon. Gafo Maizabu Bizi, former Chairman of Bade Local Government and two-time Member of the Yobe State House of Assembly representing Bade West Constituency.

Indeed, Bade land has lost a father, mentor and community figure whose life was defined by service, leadership and commitment to the progress of our people. His contributions to public service and community development will remain part of the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

On behalf of myself and the good people of Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the people of Bade West and all loved ones affected by this painful loss.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, widens and illuminates his grave, showers His mercy upon him and grants him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus alongside all departed Muslim Ummah.

May Allah grant the family strength, patience and comfort during this difficult time.

With profound gratitude to Almighty Allah and deep humility, I wish to sincerely appreciate the stakeholders, leaders and members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency for adopting me as the consensus candidate on Saturday.

This overwhelming show of confidence, unity and support means a lot to me, and I do not take it for granted.

I specially appreciate my respected brothers and fellow aspirants, Hon. Wayadagari Lamarbago and Hon. Hassan Kaku Hassan, for their maturity, sacrifice and decision to withdraw their aspirations in the interest of unity and progress within our great party. Their statesmanship and commitment to the collective interest of Bade/Jakusko will always be remembered and appreciated.

My sincere appreciation also goes to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, CON, for his fatherly role, leadership and continued efforts toward strengthening unity, peace and understanding within the party.

I equally extend my gratitude to all stakeholders and leaders who participated in the meeting, including the Honourable Commissioner for Budget, Hon. Gagiyo Garba, the Deputy Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly and Member representing Jakusko Constituency, Hon. Yau Usman Dachia, the Member representing Bade West Constituency, Hon. Sanda Kara Bade, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua (Opera), the Chairmen of Bade and Jakusko Local Government Areas, party officials, elders, youths and women groups, among many others.

This consensus is not a victory for one individual, but a reflection of our shared commitment to unity, progress and the continued development of Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency.

I remain committed to serving our people with dedication, humility and sincerity of purpose. Together, by the grace of Almighty Allah, we shall continue to move our constituency forward.

Yesterday, I joined other critical stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the stakeholders’ meeting held at the WAWA Hall, Government House, Damaturu.

The meeting, chaired by the Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune), provided an important platform for constructive discussions on strengthening party unity, peaceful coexistence and collective commitment toward the continued progress of our party and Yobe State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Deliberations during the meeting emphasized the need for understanding, patience, justice and respect for the established values and traditions that have continued to sustain the APC as a strong and united political family in Yobe State.

I commend the leadership of our great party, particularly His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, for the continued efforts in promoting unity, inclusiveness and purposeful leadership across the state.

As stakeholders, we remain committed to supporting every effort aimed at strengthening the party, deepening grassroots engagement and ensuring continued development and democratic dividends for our people.

Yesterday, I appeared before the All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee and was successfully screened and cleared to contest for a second term as the Member representing Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

I give all glory to Almighty Allah for His guidance and mercy throughout this process. I also sincerely appreciate the leadership of our great party, the APC, for the transparent and successful conduct of the screening exercise.

This milestone further strengthens my commitment to continue serving the good people of Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency with dedication, humility and a strong sense of responsibility.

Na samu labarin rasuwar Alhaji Ba’idi Bashir, Sarkin Malamai Maltrab na Bade, cikin matuƙar alhini da jimami. Rasuwar wannan babban bawan Allah babban rashi ne ba ga iyalansa kaɗai ba, har ma da daukacin al’ummar Bade da ma waɗanda s**a amfana da iliminsa, hikimarsa da kyawawan halayensa.

Ina miƙa saƙon ta’aziyyata ta musamman ga iyalansa, ‘yan uwa, almajiransa da daukacin al’ummar Bade bisa wannan babban rashi mai raɗaɗi. Hakika mutuwa gaskiya ce da kowa zai dandana, amma rasuwar magabata masu tarbiyya da ilimi na barin babban giɓi da ba'a iya cike wa cikin sauƙi.

Muna addu’ar Allah Madaukakin Sarki Ya gafarta masa kura-kuransa, Ya jiƙansa da rahma, Ya sanya Aljannatul Firdausi ce makomarsa, Ya haskaka masa kabari tare da sanya shi cikin bayinsa na ƙwarai.

Cikin tawali’u da godiya ga Allah Madaukakin Sarki, ina sanar da al’ummar Bade/Jakusko cewa na karɓi fom domin sake tsayawa takarar wakiltar ku a Majalisar Wakilai.

Wannan mataki ya biyo bayan shawarwari da tattaunawa da nayi da al’ummar yankin da nake wakilta - dattawa, matasa, mata da masu ruwa da tsaki daga sassa daban-daban na mazabarmu, tare da ƙarfafawa da addu’o’in da nake ci gaba da samu daga gare ku.

Hidimta wa al’ummar Bade/Jakusko babban abin alfahari ne a gare ni. A tsawon lokacin da na yi ina wakiltarku, mun yi ƙoƙari wajen kare muradun al’umma tare da tallafawa shirye-shiryen ci gaba da walwalar jama’a.

Duk da irin nasarorin da aka samu, har yanzu akwai sauran ayyuka da dama da ke bukatar ci gaba da aiwatar wa. Saboda haka, na sake miƙa kaina domin ci gaba da wannan tafiya ta hidima, wakilci nagari da ci gaban mazabarmu.

Ina matuƙar godiya da irin goyon baya, addu’o’i da amincewar da kuke ci gaba da nuna min. Ina tabbatar muku cewa zan ci gaba da kasancewa mai sauraron al’umma tare da jajircewa wajen kare muradunku da kawo ci gaba ga mazabarmu.

Da yardar Allah, tare za mu ci gaba da gina Bade/Jakusko mafi alheri.
