A sendoff party, was today organized in honor of students who completed their Industrial Training (IT), at NAVRC.
The students cuts across various Institutions of Higher learning across the country, received training for a period of 6 months in the Centre.
The event took place at the office Auditorium and had the Students, Staff and representatives of the Management to witness it.
Highlight of the ocassion was series of engaging presentations delivered by the students in many areas where they had been trained.
The occasion was filled with enthusiasm as the facilitators and audience listened to each of the student present , and access their level of knowledge of their trainings.
Different members of the Staff and Management appraised the students in their presentation, and also their conduct during their stay in Centre.
The Head of Admin., Dr. Etukokwu Chineze, urged the students to be good Ambassadors of NAVRC,their various Institutions and Nigeria at large especially now they are returning to their various Institutions.
As the event concluded, the students received certificates in recognition of their training in the Institution having been certified worthy, by their Training Coordinator, Dogunro Festus.
Dr. Ochu Josephine, issued the certificates on behalf of the Management.
The Students during their Industrial Training at NAVRC, received training in areas that include:
Aspects of Phytochemical Analysis,
Basic Molecular laboratory ethics, Instrumentation and Clinical Laboratory practices, other areas include, Basic Entomology and Parasitology techniques.
NAVRC has been conducting trainings for Middle level manpower as part of her mandate.
