Today, I celebrate all fathers and hardworking men across Isi-Uzo.

Fatherhood is more than a title. It is sacrifice, responsibility, guidance, and the quiet strength that keeps families standing even in difficult times.

To every father, guardian, and man working every day to provide, protect, and build a better future for his children, today is for you. Your efforts may not always be seen, but they are deeply felt in our homes and in our communities.

Today, as we mark International Workers’ Day, I celebrate every hardworking man and woman in Isi-Uzo, Enugu State.

From our civil servants to artisans, farmers, traders, security personnel, and young professionals, you are the engine that gets Isi-Uzo and Enugu State moving forward.

I had the honour of hosting the Forest Guards from Enugu East Senatorial Zone at the Isi-Uzo Council Headquarters, Ikem.

I must sincerely commend His Excellency, Peter Mbah, for the bold and unprecedented steps he has taken to secure our state. From the strengthening of the Forest Guards to the Command and Control Centre, the Distress Response Squad, and the massive investment in security infrastructureβ€”these are real actions, not just words.

Security is the foundation of development, and today, Ndi Enugu can feel the difference.

To the Forest Guards, I reminded them that this responsibility is not just a jobβ€”it is a duty to protect lives and communities. Our people depend on them. I encouraged them to remain disciplined, committed, and always ready to serve.

As a government at the grassroots, we will continue to partner, support, and strengthen every effort that keeps our people safe.

Together, we will keep Isi-Uzo secure and moving forward.

Yesterday, we successfully held the APC State Congress, and I am proud to say it was peaceful, transparent, and well organized.

Party leaders and delegates came together in unity, and at the end of the exercise, new state executives emerged to lead our great party forward. The maturity, discipline, and cooperation displayed throughout the process show that our party is growing stronger every day.

I congratulate all the winners and members of the newly elected State Executive. The responsibility before you is great, and I am confident you will serve with dedication, fairness, and commitment to the progress of our party and Enugu State.

As your Chairman, I want to assure you that our commitment to development remains strong. This month, we will continue to push forward with projects that improve your daily lives β€” better roads, improved electricity, stronger security, support for businesses, and people-centered programs that uplift our youths and women.
