Happy International Youth Day to Ezeagu Youths
Today,12th August 2026, I warmly celebrate with the vibrant and hardworking youths of Ezeagu Local Government Area on the occasion of the 2026 International Youth Day, with the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.”
As an administration, we recognise the important role young people play in the development and future of our society. This is why we have continued to invest in programmes that provide our youths with the skills, knowledge and opportunities they need to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to the growth of Ezeagu.
Our administration has trained over 70 youths in earth-moving equipments, automobile repairs and driving (first phase), while over 200 youths have also received training in tech skills including Artificial Intelligence & machine learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud computing, CGI Animation, Business Intelligence Analysis and other digital skills. We have equally provided scholarships for Ezeagu youths and students, supported skill acquisition programmes, and empowered both indigenes and non-indigenes living in Ezeagu to improve their lives and businesses, and soon Ezeagu youth will be traveling out for exchange programs. These programs are part of our commitment to building a generation of young people who are skilled, confident and ready to take advantage of the opportunities available in today’s world.
On this special day, I celebrate your dreams, your strength and your determination to succeed. I encourage you to continue learning, developing yourselves and believing in your abilities. The future belongs to young people who are prepared for it, and our administration will continue to create more opportunities for you to thrive.
Once again, Happy International Youth Day to all Ezeagu youths. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, better and greener Ezeagu.
