An accusation of infidelity, no matter how serious, should never be treated as automatic proof of guilt. A woman should not be publicly condemned, humiliated, or driven away from her husband's home without being heard and without the facts being properly established.

Many women have been accused of infidelity by the continuous practice of sorcery. Shall we continue relying on the use of sorcery to ascertain the fact without any evidence?

01/09/2026

NO WOMAN should be accused, publicly condemned, humiliated, or have her reputation destroyed based solely on claims arising from a sorcerous or mystical process, especially when she is not given a fair opportunity to respond.

31/08/2026

The purpose of such an investigation should not be to protect anyone from accountability, but to establish the truth, protect the rights of the accused women, and ensure that no woman is subjected to humiliation, intimidation, discrimination, or social condemnation without due process.

31/08/2026

How can a person be accused without credible evidence, denied a fair hearing, and then subjected to social and economic punishment as though guilt has already been established?

30/08/2026

I condemn these practices unequivocally and call for the dignity, rights, and humanity of every affected woman and child to be restored and protected.

30/08/2026

I condemn, the disturbing practice of ostracizing, banning, excommunicating, or socially isolating women merely because they have been accused of infidelity through alleged sorcerous or mystical practices.

29/08/2026

I condemn, with everything in me, the use of SORCERY, DIVINATION, OCCULT PRACTICES, and every other superstitious means of accusing women of infidelity in Aku.

A STRONG CONDEMNATION OF SUPERSTITIOUS AND SORCEROUS METHODS OF ACCUSING WOMEN OF INFIDELITY IN AKU

No woman should be branded unfaithful simply because somebody claims that a spiritual or sorcerous process has revealed it.

A STRONG CONDEMNATION OF SUPERSTITIOUS AND SORCEROUS METHODS OF ACCUSING WOMEN OF INFIDELITY IN AKU

I condemn, with everything in me, the use of sorcery, divination, occult practices, and every other superstitious means of accusing women of infidelity in Aku.

It is completely unacceptable that a woman’s dignity, reputation, marriage, safety, or place in society should be subjected to unverified spiritual claims or accusations presented as facts. No woman should be publicly disgraced, intimidated, abused, or condemned based on what someone claims to have discovered through a sorcerous or mystical process.

Accusations of infidelity are serious matters and must never be determined through superstition, fear, manipulation, or traditional practices that have no reliable means of establishing the truth.

If there is a genuine concern about marital faithfulness, it should be addressed through honest communication, evidence, counselling, family intervention where appropriate, and lawful means—not through practices capable of destroying innocent lives and reputations.

Aku is a community with a rich history, culture, values, and traditions. But culture must never become an excuse for injustice, humiliation, gender-based abuse, or the persecution of women.

I therefore call on our traditional institutions, community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders, families, and all well-meaning people of Aku to reject any practice that subjects women to public shame or punishment based on supernatural accusations.

Let us protect the dignity of our women. Let us uphold truth over superstition, justice over intimidation, and evidence over accusation.

No woman should be branded unfaithful simply because somebody claims that a spiritual or sorcerous process has revealed it.

Aku deserves better. Our women deserve better. Our community deserves truth, justice, and dignity.

I condemn this practice, unequivocally and without reservation.
