CHIEF JULIUS KOSEMANI OTEDUGBA, THE REVERED ARO-OTEDUGBA OF EMURE-ILE KINGDOM, HOSTS GRAND “AJO ILU AND AKONWOYE” CELEBRATION AMID JOY AND FANFARE
The ancient town of Emure-Ile Kingdom was filled with joy, cultural splendor, and royal excitement as one of its distinguished sons and respected High Chiefs, Chief Julius Kosemani Otedugba, the revered Aro-Otedugba of Emure-Ile Kingdom, graciously hosted the much-anticipated “Ajo Ilu and Akonwoye” celebration in grand style.
The colourful event, held at the ancient and renowned Elemure of Emure-Ile Palace, drew the presence of distinguished Chiefs, Community Elders, friends, family members, and well-wishers who gathered to honour the Ogboye, celebrate the age-long cultural heritage that ‘Ajo’ represents in Emure-Ile tradition.
The “Ajo Ilu and Akonwoye” celebration served as a symbol of cultural preservation, communal bonding, and appreciation of tradition, reflecting the rich history and noble identity of Emure-Ile Kingdom. It was an occasion marked by colorful traditional displays, musical performances, cultural dances, heartfelt prayers, and expressions of gratitude to God for peace, progress, and prosperity within the land.
