On this auspicious occasion marking the 3rd anniversary of your swearing-in as Governor of Delta State and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on behalf of the good people of Delta South Senatorial District, I extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellencies, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Under Governor Oborevwori’s visionary leadership, Delta State has witnessed remarkable strides aligned with the MORE Agenda. Notable achievements include the ex*****on of over 300 road projects, encompassing critical infrastructure such as flyovers and bridges in Warri and Effurun, alongside substantial investments in healthcare facilities, educational support through bursaries and scholarships, enhanced security, and empowerment programmes for youths, women, and small businesses. These initiatives have fostered inclusive development, connecting communities and unlocking economic opportunities across the state.

At the national level, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated bold and transformative governance through landmark economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of foreign exchange rates, tax reforms, and enhanced revenue generation. These measures have strengthened fiscal health, boosted non-oil revenues, attracted foreign investments, supported student loans, laid a foundation for sustained growth and Renewed Hope of Nigerians, with notable progress in infrastructure development and security enhancements.

Senator Joel-Onowakpo Felicitates Delta APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka on 69th Birthday

Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content, Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has extended warm and heartfelt felicitations to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, as he marks his 69th birth anniversary.

Senator Joel-Onowakpo in a congratulatory message on Thursday, described Chief Arenyeka as a seasoned politician and respected statesman whose decades of dedicated service have significantly strengthened the APC and contributed meaningfully to the political development of Delta State. He lauded the APC chairman for his exceptional leadership qualities, political maturity and strong dedication to the ideals of democracy and good governance.

The Senator paid glowing tribute to Chief Arenyeka’s remarkable ability to foster inclusiveness and build consensus across different interests, noting that his wealth of experience has continued to serve as a stabilising force within the party. In a birthday message on Wednesday, the Senator described Prince Erijo as a rare gem in the political landscape of Isoko nation and Delta State. He noted that Prince Erijo is a man whose quiet strength, sharp intellect and genuine warmth have made a trusted ally and respected leader.

Earlier today, Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, senator representing Delta South Senatorial District and APC Senatorial Candidate in the 2027 general elections joined other invited guests and dignitaries at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, Venue for the Collation and Declaration of the Presidential Primary Election Results.

Mr. President was declared the winner of the APC Presidential Primary election.
