It has come to our attention that, despite several warnings and disclaimers, certain individuals or groups have continued to create multiple fake Facebook accounts impersonating Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. We hereby wish to alert the public and urge everyone to exercise caution to avoid falling victim to these scammers and their scams.

For the avoidance of doubt, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh and his official team are neither associated with nor do they endorse the creation or operation of any fraudulent Facebook accounts or related activities. Members of the public and law enforcement agencies are encouraged to remain vigilant. One of the identified fake accounts bears the name: Hon. Ikpong Etteh.

ETTEH CONGRATULATES PROF. CHRIS EKONG ON EMERGENCE AS UNIUYO VICE CHANCELLOR

The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Okpolupm Etteh, has congratulated Professor Chris Ekong on his emergence as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo.

Rep. Etteh, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on University Education, described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Professor Ekong’s wealth of academic experience, administrative capacity, and commitment to excellence.

According to the lawmaker, the new Vice Chancellor possesses the requisite leadership qualities to reposition the University for greater academic achievements, improved research output, and infrastructural development.

The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep.
