*APC and Biafra War Tactics*
During the Nigerian Civil War, the Biafran army refused to answer the Nigerian government's call to surrender. This continued for almost three years. The then head of state, General Gowon, consulted Obafemi Awolowo on a solution. Awolowo asked how they could be feeding Biafra and still expect them to stop the war. He advised the government to block every possible means for the Igbo people (Biafra) to get food supplies.
Not long after this was achieved, the Biafran army grew weaker and began to withdraw. As a result, the Nigerian army had the opportunity to pe*****te and attack their stronghold. In the end, Biafra surrendered to the Nigerian army, and the war ended.
The main tactic here is that *"you cannot be fighting political enemies and still be feeding them."* You should not allow your enemy's source of sustenance to continue. If you really serious about winning the game.
This is the same tactic the APC leadership in Osun State is using presently. They never expected the early excellent performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke administration. His first 100 days in government were like four years of their own administration, *given the visible progress in public infrastructure, staff welfare, education, health, and more.*
They are now determined to stop it by all means. Hence, the "Biafra War Tactics."
Politics is serious business; it is a game of strategic planning, not chance. The political game the APC leadership in Osun is playing was well planned. It's a serious game that People like us, young Politicians, are watching to see the outcome.
The APC leadership in Osun knows very well it cannot compete with Ademola Adeleke's unexpected excellence in governance.
As far as they are concerned, his outstanding achievements are only possible because of the state's revenue (improved internally generated revenue and federal allocations). In addition, is the influence APC believes the state government have over Osun State local government federal allocations that will seriously influence the control of grassroots politics. That is why they have resolved to block the release of Osun State local government funds to them, notwithstanding the suffering this will cause the people.
They know for sure they cannot win any of their court cases if fair judgment is delivered. They just want to use delay tactics to hold on to the money until after the August 8th, election.
This is not the end of the game; they still have some hidden cards to play. Undoubtedly, politics is serious business. I pray Almighty God gives our leaders the wisdom to defeat them. Shame and disgrace shall be APC end result.
