What an inspiring day at the Women Conference and Empowerment Programme hosted by the Hope of Women Involvement Foundation in Abuja!
On Thursday, 7th May 2026, the Director of NOA FCT Directorate, Mrs. Princess Egbe Akenzua, joined management staff at this powerful gathering themed “Empowering Women, Transforming Communities.” The event brought together women leaders, advocates, and stakeholders driving real change across Nigeria.

Key highlights:
✅Project Train to Empower Launch – A bold initiative to empower 10,000 women across 10 states through training, mentorship, and economic opportunities.
✅Insightful panel discussions on Women Leadership & Inclusion and Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship
✅A documentary showcasing the Foundation’s impact in skills acquisition, advocacy, and community transformation.
In her remarks, Mrs. Deborah Ogwuche emphasized giving a voice to rural women and creating real opportunities through education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.
The NOA FCT Directorate was also recognised with a Special Recognition Award for our ongoing collaborations and mobilization efforts for national development. Our HOD, Community Safety and Compliance, received an award for outstanding contribution to community development.
The message was clear: when women are empowered, communities thrive.
