SEN. IMOKE THANKS OBUDU FOR REMAINING STEADFAST WITH PDP, SAID PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CHURCH IS NEEDED FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE.

Sen. Liyel Imoke during the presidential campaign council town hall meeting at Obudu established that PDP has a good history in cross river state that must be sustained, iterated that what is needed in Obudu and cross river state is men of character and integrity, going further he said Obudu needed to have a Governor and he insisted on it to ensure their son became Governor.

Sen. Liyel said he is in Obudu to encourage the people of Obudu to be committed to PDP activities which will be rewarded Soon. He Implored them to unify with their people and utilize their pvc's and vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to become the next president of Nigeria, Encouraged them to Vote Sen.Sandy Onor who has cognate experience to become Governor of Cross River State, Chief. Peter Akpanke for House of reps, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe and Mr. Jon ukwue for Member cross Rrver State House of assembly

Speaking with the Christian association of Nigeria(CAN) H.E said the church is the body of Christ and they need to partner with them in prayers before engaging in any process, as the church is needed for good governance to be achieved through partnership,further charged them to advice their congregants to avoid the Muslim/Muslim ticket and vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president in the next election.

Responding for the leaders of christian association of Nigeria(CAN)Apostle Joe Agim thanked Sen.Imoke and the PCC delegation for interfacing with them and promised to talk with the congregants to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP in the forth coming elections.

Responding for the OBUDU people, Uje Michael expressed the loyalty and consistency of the Obudu people in PDP and promised to remain steadfast in their commitment to the victory of PDP.

At the palace of the Paramount ruler of Obudu, HRM Uti Jeddy Agba, Sen. Liyel said he has tremendous respect for HRM Uti Jeddy Agba who has always been a father to all.
Further more, he told the traditional institution that they have come to solicicit for their support to the incoming Government of PDP. He admonished the royal institution to support the candidature of Sen. Sandy Onor who would take after his footsteps, support Sen jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Chief. Peter Akppanke and in overall Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president as cross river state would enjoy prolific benefits if Atiku Abubakar becomes Governor.

Chief. Sylvester Okpole who spoke onbahalf of the traditional institution said, Obudu is made up of thirty six clans and all this thirty six clans who have their chiefs present in the meeting at the palace would support candidates of the PDP as PDP would meritoriously win the 2023 elections.

PDP PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL(PCC) HOLD TOWN HALL MEETING WITH TRADITIONAL RULERS, C. A. N AND PDP STALWARTS IN OGOJA LGA.

The presidential campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by the DDG Operations, H.E( Sen). Liyel Imoke and the Cross River State DG ,Rt.Hon(Chief) Obeten Okorn have engaged the traditional rulers, Christian association of Nigeria(CAN) and Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) leaders/members of OGOJA local Government area in a town hall meeting to seek their support for the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all candidates.

H. E( Sen) Liyel Imoke speaking with the Chiefs of Ogoja LGA, thanked them for the tremendous support they gave him during his administration as Governor of Cross River, their advices, prayers, maintenance of peace and security in their communities which helped him to succeed. Further more he condemned the present administration of cross River State, said they had expected further development after he left office as Governor but very disappointing to see the deteriorating state of Cross River where everything the PDP Government achieved in the state has gone moribund due to lack of continuity by the present Government.

Furthermore, the former Governor of Cross River stated that having only a PDP Governor without a president will diminish the opportunites of gaining developmental projects needed to benefit the people as only the Governor and his state resources cannot afford some projects needed in the state. He humbly appealed to the OGOJA people to unanimously support and cast their votes for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar whom as president will give OGOJA and Cross River the opportunity to enjoy federal Government presence and Projects In the state. advised that inspite of the financial inducement that will come from the APC, the OGOJA people should avoid the mistake of supporting any candidate other than Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President, Sen.Sandy Onor as Governor, their performing Sen. Jarigbe Agom as Senator and the state house of Assembly candidate.

Interacting with the leadership of christian association of Nigeria(C.A.N), Sen. Liyel pointed out that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a lover of Christians and understands the security challenges of Nigeria and how to adress them which is why the Boko Haram crisis do not take place in Adamawa State. Lamented that cross River State in this loathsome APC administration has lost the health care progamms, quality education and rural development projects that PDP had established for them, added that it is not a favour for the masses but the responsibility of Government to provide basic amenities for the masses. appealed to the Christian leaders to speak with their congregations on the importance of voting wisely for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who as vice President tremendously developed Nigeria.

In his reaction, the clan head of Ekumtak, HRH Sylvanus Abuo who spoke on behalf of the traditional rulers of Ogoja assured the PDP of their support and promised to talk with their subjects to cast their votes for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Responding for the Christian leaders, Rev. Charles Okoronkwo , thanked the team for interfacing with them and promised to support the PDP and enlightening their members on the need to vote PDP.

Speaking for the people of Ogoja Lga, Chief Igbaji Monkom(ksm) declared the support of the OGOJA people for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and promised to deliver Atiku/Okowa 5/5 in the 2023 presidential elections.

ATIKU/OKOWA 2023: PCC NTERACT WITH TRADITIONAL RULERS C.A.N AND PDP STAKEHOLDERS / MEMBERS IN BOKI LGA.

H. E.(Sen).Liyel Imoke remarked that he had enjoyed so much support from the traditional rulers of Boki. said moving forward they cannot continue suffering the pains of this Apc administration and condemned the timber logging that is being carried out in Boki which has led to destroying the rain forest as only the forest sustained Boki in the world map but the depletion has caused Boki to loose it prideful position.He said Government is supposed to be continuity but everything that PDP built including education, hospitals and programs for the development of Boki has been destroyed by the present APC administration to the detriment of the people.

The former CRS Governor, rendered apologies to the Boki people for him being part of the process that brought Sen. Ben Ayade to become Governor of the state. advised every body to do it right by getting their permanent voters cards (PVC'S) and ensure they cast all their votes for PDP for the restoration of the state values and not subject themselves to financial inducement, either through food on the table or vote buying that will lead them to sell their votes to other parties that have no good policies for the betterment of Nigerians.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should be voted for president to attract federal Government presence and Projects to cross river state.

Reminded the people that, APC has never won elections in cross river state and the time has come for the people to take decisions on those to Govern the country with quality representation of the people at the national and state level which is why he has come to them to solicicit for their support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be voted as President to attract federal Government presence and Projects to Cross River state. Further Implored them to vote Sen. Sandy Ojang Onor as Governor, Rt.Hon.Bassey Ewa as Senator of the central and Barr. Attach Ochinke as member HOR for Ikom/ Boki federal constituency, Walter Nandi and Ikobi Ikobi for Boki 1&2 state constituencies.

The Paramount ruler of Boki LGA, HRH Otu Freedaline applauded Sen.Liyel Imoke for his tremendous performance in the state when he was Governor, said they will support PDP to succeed in the forth coming elections because with the success of PDP them as a people have succeed.

Adressing the clergy men, H.E Sen.Liyel Imoke said Nigeria is deteriorating which has led the masses to extreme poverty because the present Government has refused to crate Jobs and opportunities for the young people, added that the church has a critical roll to play in the development of Nigeria and leadership needs the intervention of the christian body to succeed. Appealed to the Christian leaders to speak with their congregation to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president and all other candidates of PDP in the next general elections.

The Paramount ruler of Boki LGA, HRH Otu Freedaline applauded H.E(Sen).Liyel Imoke for his tremendous performance in Boki and love he showed them when he was Governor bof Cross River State. Reiterated that, them in Boki will support PDP to succeed in the fort coming elections because if PDP succeed, them in Boki have also succeded.

The chairman of the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) in Boki, Rev. Father Clement Imor said the church should be carried along in decision making in Governance and assured the PCC of Prayers and conscientizing members of their churches to support the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2023 elections.

Responding for the Boki people, the member representing Boki 1 state constituency, Hon. Itam Abang said Boki is traditionally PDP because PDP has done them well and will deliver 5/5 for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to become president of Nigeria come 2023.

PDP PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL ARRIVE UGEP, YAKURR LGA ON TOWN HALL/INTERACTION MEETING.

The PDP presidential campaign council for Atiku/Okowa 2023 led by His Excellency ( Sen). Liyel Imoke-DDG operations, Sen.Gershom Bassey - Chairman, Cross River State Presidential Campaign Council and other PDP Stalwarts in the state.

In his Opening Remarks The DG, Cross River State campaign council Chief Obeten Okorn while addressing the leaders and members of Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) said their meeting is to interact with the christian fold as the PDP acknowledges God first in their activities.added that as a foundational member of PDP since 1999 to 2015, the remarkable development achieved in the country is non- replaceable by APC or any other party.

Chief Obeten said everybody should generate their sincere confidence to support the PDP Government as the Era of violence during elections no longer exist and it is no time for experimentation but rather to recover and restore Nigeria.

Sen. liyel Imoke on his part, thanked the leader's of christian association of Nigeria (CAN) for honoring the invitation of the campaign council and said it is significant interfacing with them because of the importance they place on their christian faith in cross River State, added that the 8years of APC govt have been wasted years and unfortunately cross River govt joined the Apc, which brought the state down.

Iterated that politics has been played at the expense of our development, which has made the worth of the people, their education valueless and rendered the citizens impoverished.

Advised the people to encourage their relatives and friends to come out and vote PDP in the forth coming election with saying no to financial inducement but vote with their conscience as cross river state should not waste their votes because wasting of votes even biblically is a sin.

Sen. Liyel Advised the CAN leaders and the clergy men to understand the importance of supporting a man who has veneration for the Christian faith.

The chairman of(CAN) Father Hycenth Inyang thanked the presidential council for acknowledging the christian leaders and promised to support the presidential candidacy of Alhaji. Atiku Abubakar who's antecedents are impressive and contributed emensely to the development of Nigeria.
