MEMO: ADOPTION OF NEWLY APPROVED PARTY LOGO

This is to formally notify all party members, stakeholders, ward executives, support groups, media teams, and relevant party structures within Bonny LGA that the National Headquarters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has approved and adopted a new official party logo.

Consequently, all party organs and members are hereby directed to take note of this development and ensure immediate compliance with this directive.

The newly approved logo shall henceforth be used on all official party communications, documents, banners, posters, flyers, social media publications, letterheads, campaign materials, branded items, and any other representation of the party.

Members are advised to discontinue the use of previous versions of the party logo and immediately begin transitioning to the newly approved design in order to maintain uniformity and strengthen the party's identity nationwide.

Further guidelines regarding branding, usage specifications, and official templates will be communicated as they become available.

We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to building a stronger and more united NDC.

The leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Bonny LGA, extends profound appreciation to all party members, stakeholders, ward executives, youths, women, elders, and supporters who participated in the successful conduct of the party primaries held at the Akiama Women's Hall, Bonny Island.

The remarkable turnout, peaceful atmosphere, and overwhelming participation demonstrated the unity, strength, and growing acceptance of the NDC across Bonny LGA. Your commitment, sacrifice, and belief in the ideals of our great party continue to inspire confidence in our collective journey towards a better future.

Following a transparent and credible exercise, the following candidates emerged:

🗳️ STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

Michael G. Pepple — 120 Votes

Sodienye Amah Pepple — 450 Votes (Winner)

🗳️ FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (BONNY/DEGEMA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY)

Owunari Black — 570 Votes (Winner)

🗳️ GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY

High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs — 607 Votes (Winner)

These results reflect the collective will of party members and reaffirm NDC's commitment to internal democracy, fairness, and transparency.

As we move into the next phase of political engagement, we call on all members to remain united and committed to the common goal of building a stronger party and securing victory in the coming elections. The primaries may be over, but the real work of mobilization, organization, and grassroots engagement begins now.

The Special Convention for the affirmation of the Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 30th May 2026, in Abuja.

Supporters, stakeholders, delegates, and well-wishers from across the country are expected to converge for this historic event as the party takes another significant step toward the 2027 General Elections.

For millions of Nigerians, this convention represents renewed hope, purposeful leadership, and a vision for a better Nigeria. With anticipation building around the emergence of Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, all eyes will be on Abuja as the next chapter of the movement unfolds.

The journey continues. The movement grows stronger. The hope of a better Nigeria remains alive.

Today, Bonny LGA witnessed massive participation, unity, and true democracy as NDC members came out in large numbers for the party primaries.

✔ Sodienye Amah Pepple emerged victorious for State House of Assembly.
✔ Owunari Blakk emerged for House of Representatives.
✔ High Chief Dumo O Lulu-Briggs secured overwhelming support in the Governorship category.
✔ Bonny LGA also strongly affirmed support for H.E. Peter Gregory Obi as the presidential direction of the movement.

🔥 NDC BONNY LGA MAKES A POWERFUL STATEMENT IN TODAY’S PRIMARIES 🔥

Today, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) once again demonstrated its growing strength, unity, and democratic credibility as party primaries were successfully conducted across Bonny LGA in line with the nationwide NDC primaries held on May 29, 2026.

The exercise witnessed active participation from party members, stakeholders, executives, youths, women, and committed grassroots mobilizers determined to shape the future of our party and our nation.

🗳️ STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY PRIMARY
The House of Assembly primary election was keenly contested between:

✔ Michael Pepple
✔ Sodienye Amah Pepple

After a transparent and credible process, Sodienye Amah Pepple emerged victorious as the party’s candidate for the State House of Assembly.

🗳️ HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
For the House of Representatives, Owunari Blakk emerged as the party’s candidate, receiving overwhelming support from members and stakeholders.

🗳️ GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARY
In the Governorship category, High Chief Dumo O Lulu-Briggs, who was represented among the governorship aspirants in Bonny LGA, secured victory and received massive affirmation from party faithfuls within the LGA.

🗳️ PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTION OF THE PARTY
In a strong show of unity and shared national vision, party members and stakeholders in Bonny LGA also unanimously affirmed their support for His Excellency Mr. Peter Gregory Obi as the Presidential Candidate and symbol of the new direction Nigerians desire ahead of 2027.

Today’s exercise has once again proven that the NDC is not just another political platform, but a fast-growing movement built on participation, internal democracy, transparency, credibility, and the collective will of the people.

The energy, turnout, and organization witnessed during the primaries send a clear message to the opposition that NDC is fully on ground, strategically mobilized, and prepared for victory come 2027.

This is to officially inform all members that the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, and Governorship Primaries of our great party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), have been scheduled as follows:

📅 Date: Friday, 29th May, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM Prompt
📍 Venue: Akiama Women Hall, Bonny Island.

All registered members of the party are hereby advised to come along with the printed copy of their NDC Membership Card to enable them participate and vote for their preferred aspirants.

We sincerely apologize for the late information and recent adjustments regarding the primaries. These changes became necessary due to ongoing political and party arrangements beyond the control of the LGA structure. This is politics, and at times strategic decisions must be taken in the collective interest of the party and the democratic process.

We therefore urge all committed party members to remain united, understanding, and come out en masse to participate actively in this important exercise. Your presence and participation are vital to the success and credibility of the process.
