LEADERSHIP THAT SPEAKS THROUGH RESULTS DR. MIDALA USMAN BALAMI FOR CONTINUITY

Rt. Hon. Dr. Midala Usman Balami, Member Representing Askira-Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency, represents a leadership philosophy anchored on experience, competence, accountability and measurable service to the people.

The Quality of Our Choice

A serious electorate must learn to look beyond emotions, propaganda, personal loyalty, and political noise.

As we approach 2027, the real question should not only be โ€œWho do I support?โ€ but โ€œWho is truly capable of representing our interests?โ€

Experience matters, but experience without performance may achieve little. Competence matters, but competence without character can be dangerous. Character matters, but character must also be matched with the capacity to deliver meaningful results.

A representative should be judged by what he knows, what he has done, how he treats the people, and what he is capable of achieving.

We should ask ourselves:

What should come first in choosing a representative in 2027 โ€” experience, competence, character, performance, or the ability to deliver?

And perhaps the wiser answer is this: we should not sacrifice one for the other. We need leadership that combines integrity, competence, experience, measurable performance, and the capacity to deliver.

Democracy becomes stronger when voters ask difficult questions, examine records, and make decisions based on evidence rather than emotions.
