EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN KEBBI STATE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE (KBIRS) PARTICIPATES IN JTB 2025 EXECUTIVE MEMBERS INTERNATIONAL TRAINING IN INDIA
04th to 10th October, 2025*

The Executive Chairman kebbi State Internal Revenue Service (KBIRS) Dr. AMINU ABDULLAHI has joined his counterparts to participate in the Joint Tax Board (JTB) 2025 Executive Members international training workshop.

The training workshop with the theme “Optimizing Tax Through Collaborative Federalism; The India Experience” started on Saturday 4th October in New Delhi, India and is expected to end on Friday 10th October, 2025.

Given the ongoing reforms within the Nigeria’s tax administration, the workshop is both timely and significant as it presents a unique opportunity for members to deepen their knowledge, build capacity and strengthen their technical competence to effectively drive tax reforms within the Internal Revenue Services and exposed to global best practices in taxation.

It is expected that insights from the workshop will further support the seamless implementation of the new tax regime across the states, ensure collaborative tax administration and improve the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

KBIRS participation at the Joint Tax Board (JTB) 2025 Executive Members international training workshop underscores the commitment of the KEBBI STATE Governor Comr Dr. Nasir idris kauran gwandu and the service under the able leadership of Dr. Aminu Abdullahi to ensuring professionalism and standard practice of tax administration in the state.

The State Board Of Internal Revenue Officials today went round in to the state headquarters, the City of Birnin Kebbi for a sensitizations visit for the payment of taxes.

The Executive Chairman of the Board who is also the leader of the team said the sensitization was aimed at informing and re-enlightening the companies and individuals about payment of tax and their other financial obligations.

The team went around in Birnin Kebbi today, and will extend the gesture to other business areas soon

2. Penalties for non-compliance
3. Public sensitization
