WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY 2025

I join fellow youths in Nigeria, especially those in Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo, and Bunza Federal Constituency, to commemorate World Youth Skills Day 2025.

Recognizing the importance of empowering our youth with skills education, I sponsored bills to establish a College of Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition in Bunza LGA and a National Institute for Technical and Vocational Education in Kalgo LGA, both of which have reached the concurrence stage.

These initiatives, once established, will equip our youth with relevant skills in entrepreneurship and vocational expertise, enhancing their employability and self-reliance. I assure the teeming youth of BKB that, with their support, I will continue to bring developments that will set our constituency as a shining example among peers nationwide.

Build the Youth. Build the Nation!

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihir Raji'un!

I extend my deepest condolences to the family, government, and good people of Katsina State, and the entire nation on the passing of President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (1942-2025) after a prolonged illness in London.

The late Major General Muhammadu Buhari served the country as Head of State from 1984 to 1985 and as elected President from 2015 to 2023. As a leader, he demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment to Nigeria's progress, stability, and unity. He will be remembered for his staunch stand against corruption and his undeniable commitment to democratic integrity and national development. He leaves behind an indelible legacy for Nigerians in regards to leadership.

I pray that Allah Almighty grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus and grants his family and the entire country the fortitude to bear the loss.

Today marks two years since I was sworn in to serve you — the resilient people of Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo, and Bunza — in the House of Representatives.

It has been two years of dedicated service, listening, learning, and leading on your behalf. Together, we’ve made strides in infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, and community development — and we are just getting started.

I remain deeply grateful for your trust and support. The work continues, and so does our shared vision for a brighter, fairer, and more prosperous constituency.

Yau ne shekara biyu da na karɓi rantsuwar k**a aiki a matsayin Waƙili a Majalisar Tarayya domin waƙiltar al'ummar Ƙananan Hukumomin Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo da Bunza.

Waɗannan shekarun biyu sun zamo na sadauƙarwa, sauraren ra'ayoyin al'umma, koyo, da kuma jagoranci domin ku. Tare daku, mun samu nasarori muhimmai a ɓangarorin ayyuka, tallafawa mata da matasa, ilimi, da kuma cigaban al'umma. Wannan kam, yanzu ma muka fara.

Ina godiya matuƙa da wannan amanar da kunka damƙa mani. Ayyukan alkhairi Insha'Allahu zamu cigaba dayi, haka zalika, kyakkyawar alaƙarmu wadda muka ƙulla domin kawowa waɗannan mazaɓun namu abubuwan alkhairi.

Na gode da kuka zaɓi yin wannan tafiyar ta aminci tare dani.
