Peter Obi Calls for Excellence in the 2027 Elections 🇳🇬

Peter Obi has reaffirmed his commitment to peaceful, credible, and issue-based politics after joining other presidential candidates to sign the first National Peace Accord for the 2027 elections.

He stressed that anyone aspiring to be called “His Excellency” must first demonstrate excellence through responsible leadership, peaceful conduct, and respect for the democratic process.

He urged candidates and their supporters to reject violence and focus on the issues that matter most to Nigerians—including insecurity, poverty, education, national unity, and restoring hope to citizens.

Leadership must be excellent, and the process of choosing our leaders must be excellent too.

Kwankwaso Celebrates Former Plateau Governor Jonah Jang 🇳🇬

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE, on Friday, August 14, 2026, paid a visit to former Plateau State Governor, Senator Jonah David Jang, at his residence in Abuja.

The visit was to celebrate Senator Jang on his birthday and join him in commemorating the launch of his new book, while honouring his years of service and contributions to Nigeria.

Senator Kwankwaso congratulated the former governor on the occasion and wished him continued good health, wisdom, and many more years of meaningful service to the nation.

The gathering brought together family, friends, church leaders, and well-wishers to remember and celebrate the life, service, and legacy of a distinguished man of faith.
