We walk past them every day. Some see trees as decoration, others as background. But truth is โ€” trees are infrastructure. Just like water systems and electricity, trees silently serve cities and save lives.

๐Ÿ“Œ They absorb carbon dioxide
๐Ÿ“Œ Reduce stormwater runoff
๐Ÿ“Œ Cool our air through evapotranspiration
๐Ÿ“Œ Block harmful sunlight and reduce ground heat
๐Ÿ“Œ Clean the air we breathe
๐Ÿ“Œ Lower energy demand by shading buildings

Yet... trees are not viewed as a necessity. Why?

This image reminds us that every tree standing is working harder than we think. Itโ€™s time we treat them like the life-saving assets they are โ€” not afterthoughts. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’š

Today we are celebrating the importance and benefits of rain forest in our environment. The TP and NTPs.
The unique biodiversity conservation they present.

World Rain Forest day, reminds us that Rainforests provide important ecological services, including storing hundreds of billions of tons of carbon, buffering against flood and drought, stabilizing soils, influencing rainfall patterns, and providing a home to wildlife and Indigenous people.

Theme for this year: Empowering the World in Defense of Our Rainforests.'
