In the name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Merciful.

With a heart full of gratitude to Almighty Allah, I, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, the Ikelebe III and Otaru of the sacred and beloved Auchi Kingdom, extend my warmest greetings to all sons and daughters of Auchi, at home and across the diaspora, as we mark the blessed festival of Eid al-Fitr.

Alhamdulillah, for granting us life, strength, and the grace to witness the end of the holy month of Ramadan. It is my earnest prayer that Allah accepts our fasting, our prayers, our sacrifices, and all acts of ibadah. May He, in His infinite mercy, reward us abundantly and grant us many more opportunities to serve Him.

As your father and custodian of our heritage, my heart is always with you. At my age, nothing gives me greater joy than seeing my people live in peace, unity, and love. Ramadan has taught us discipline, patience, compassion, and selflessness and these are not virtues to be abandoned after Eid, but values we must carry into our daily lives.

I urge every one of us to imbibe the true virtues of Islam: to love one another sincerely, to stand united as one people, and to uphold righteousness in all our dealings. Let there be no division among us whether at home or in the diaspora. The strength of Auchi lies in our unity, and together, we can preserve the dignity and honor of our land.

I must also remind us of the importance of remaining steadfast in our faith. We must abstain from all forms of idol worship and practices that contradict the teachings of Islam. Let us remain devoted to Allah alone, for it is only through Him that we find true guidance, peace, and prosperity.

Furthermore, the safety of our community is a responsibility we must all share. I call on every son and daughter of Auchi to collaborate actively in securing our land. We must support and strengthen our local security architecture through generous contributions, vigilance, and cooperation with relevant authorities. Be watchful, be alert, and always look out for one another. Our peace is priceless, and we must protect it together.

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, I raise my hands in prayer for Auchi Kingdom:
May Allah bless our land with continuous peace, growth, and prosperity.
May He protect every household, guide our leaders, and unite us in purpose.

May our children inherit a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Auchi.

To all my beloved people, I wish you and your families a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.

"In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful."

It is often a thing of joy to witness a new year.
This is why we celebrate -to mark the beginning of every year with the hopes that it holds all that is good for us.

However, we must on the occasion of the dawning of this new Islamic Calendar Year do a retrospect.
Let us collectively run our minds through all that we have done (good, bad and ugly) and juxtapose our actions with the ensuing realities of our current condition.
In doing so, we can then see whether we have done well or otherwise.

My beloved people of Auchi Sacred Kingdom and people of the world, let us not make worsen the world we met. Let us not leave behind a torn world in our demise. Let us not contribute to the evil that bedevils society.

Let this new year be one wherein we review, repair and rebuild the good.
Let us be deliberate about the need to entrench and maintain our collective good.
Let us be guided as we guard jealously the good that Allah has blessed us with -such that Allah's Grandeur Blessings shall continue to place our community favourably and enviably on a pedestal of progress, peace and tranquility.

In all, let us plant on Earth the good -as in doing so, we would have sown a seed that yields greater good.

May the year 1446AH bring us all that is good.

As the sun rises on this blessed day, we are reminded of the boundless mercy and grace of Allah.
May this Sallah bring light to our hearts, hope to our souls, peace and unity to Auchi Sacred Kingdom, Edo State, and our great Nation -Nigeria.

Just as the crescent moon symbolizes new beginnings, may we embrace this occasion to renew our faith, rejuvenate our spirits, and rekindle our commitment to one another.

Let us honour the values of compassion, generosity, and forgiveness, and may our actions be a testament to the power of love and kindness.
May it be a reflection of His teachings, and may our hearts be filled with gratitude and devotion.

To the good people of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, I offer my warmest wishes for a joyous and blessed Sallah.
May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you, and may our nation continue to flourish under His guidance.

We give thanks to Almighty Allah for His grandeur blessings upon Auchi Sacred Kingdom . Indeed, Almighty Allah has blessed us with a shinning light for which we must show gratitude to Him in how we conduct ourselves as a people and in our interrelationships with others.

For all those who hold the notion that points towards internal discordant tunes and try to rub same on the Family of the Ikelebes, know now that the Ikelebes are united as one indivisible front. We have no problems and those who do should for the sake of communal growth sheath their swords and embrace progress.

Those who have hitherto bought guns with which to stir disaffection where there is none should now bring those guns out, use same to make the loudest ceremonial noise for Allah has given us another addition to the numerous blessings we enjoy.
Auchi Polytechnic is no longer Auchi Polytechnic. It is now City University of Technology Auchi as I have come to know from President Muhammadu Buhari who gave me the information during the Lesser Hajj.

You can shoot those bullets in the air in celebration and sheath them thereafter as there is no cause for us to be at war with ourselves. We are one people brought together by the Almighty and nothing should break us against the Will of Allah.

Let us be the shinning example of what a Just society should be.
Let us appreciate our status as a community that has come to enjoy Allah's Light.

Congratulations to us all for the conclusion of Ramadan and the begining of the month of Shawwal.
Congratulations to us for the upgrade of Auchi Polytechnic to a City University of Technology.
Congratulations to us as we embrace ourselves as one family -going forward.

"In the the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful."

Yesterday, Thursday the 23rd of February, I received the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Asabi who has been saddled with the responsibility of monitoring and ensuring safety for voters and staff of Nigeria's electoral umpire (Independent National Electoral Commission INEC) across Edo North in the oncoming Saturday Polls.

He has assured us of his commitment to carry out his assignment justly with a view to helping the community scale the election period with our gift of peace and tranquility intact.

Our people who are however a peace loving people are again going to be tested in the cause of the elections and in the aftermath of it. It is my prayer that we all witness an election free from malpractices and violence because the duo will only take us back (and not forward like we want).

The presence of Peace and Security in Auchi Sacred Kingdom is no doubt the propeller of glad tidings such that manifest in the upward progression of our community daily. We owe it to ourselves and future generations to keep our community secured and in peace as we go about our civic responsibility on Saturday the 25th of February 2023 to cast our votes for candidates of our choice for the benefit of our country and its people.

Let's all ensure that we come out early tomorrow (Saturday) with our PVCs to the various Polling Units assigned to us, do the necessary accreditations, obtain the ballot paper, thumbprint appropriately and in secret (inside the cubicles provided) for candidates of our choice and stay a reasonable distance away so that others can partake in the exercise and so that we can observe how the process works.

May the assignment bestowed on security forces be made easy through the good conduct of electorates and those in charge of handling electoral matters on behalf of the people.
May those who will advance the people's living standard and give the country the needed drive towards beneficial development clinch victory at the polls.
May we have cause to be better citizens going forward.

All praises and adorations are for Almighty Allah Who has made us witnesses of today's glad tidings.

Alhamdullah!

I remember vividly that our son, Deputy Governor of Edo State, the person of Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu made a pledge to assist one of ours who is currently going through a tough trial in the guise of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
The DG made a pledge to the tune of Ten Million Naira ( #10,000,000) when those handling the fundraiser appealed to the audience for help in the struggle to save the sick.

As we now know, Philip Shaibu has in truth held up his pledge to fulfilment. He has made the transfer to Zekeri Sabiu Momoh in view of actualizing his need for a stem cell transplant far away in India. This has been confirmed by our very own Princess Otse who sent in a receipt to this effect and by the beneficiary (Sabiu).

Our son, the Deputy Governor's display of Charitable character is a call on all of us to take a leaf of emulation to give to the course of humanity for in doing so, the Almighty blesses the giver with endless Bounty.

Even though Philip is a Christian, he has not let his religious affiliation nor any other primordial considerations deter him from extending his helping hands towards projects that benefit Muslims as shown in his generous offering to help roof an Islamic Building Project at Oshiomhole Village in Auchi Sacred Kingdom and again through this magnanimous show of love for an ailing member of the Muslim Family in Edo North.

What do we learn from this?
We are humans first before anything else and in treating each other right (in love and by sharing) do we truly serve the purpose for which we were created to spend time on earth.

I appreciate also, our daughter, Hon. Otse Momoh Omorogbe who has consistently followed up with ensuring that this pledge is fulfilled and more so in good time.
We understand that the DG is saddled with a lot of responsibilities on behalf of the Good people of Edo State and so the need to always remind him of the pledge arose through many concerned persons, groups and all.

Thankfully, Otse together with those who never rested until the needed amount was realised have done well and I pray Almighty Allah rewards everyone bountifully for helping out in this course of saving life.

However, we must not forget that Allah is the giver and taker of whatever befalls man whether as blessings or as trials. He has put a trial over Sabiu and we can only pray that as the journey towards restoring the health of the patient begins, Allah puts Barakah in the treatments and grant him speedy recovery.

I wish to express gratitude to Almighty Allah who has favoured us with His grandeur blessings and has given us a unique day to mark His Love and Light in our lives.

That our community has become the fastest developing Town -growing into a City in the whole of Nigeria is not of our making but of the Will of Allah who has favoured us.

This favour we must as a well meaning people endeavor to sustain by treating everyone as we would treat ourselves. We must continue to be affable and warm in our reception and accomodation of guests and give them a sense of belonging like we have always done and Allah will continue to make our beloved Auchi Sacred Kingdom a magnet that attracts all that is good.

Never forget that we are one indivisible people, no matter where we are or come from. Once you draw breath in, have a business in, pass through, trade in, worship in Auchi -no matter your religion, race or status in society, you are ours, we are yours. Auchi is for all (with pure intent).

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Most Merciful.

Life is a continuous spectrum of learning. You either deliberately set out to seek knowledge or you are taught hard lessons through life's experiences wherever you may be.

However, one cannot afford to not head out in search of this priceless commodity called knowledge at a time when what you know is what empowers you and your community to a reasonable extent.

Our collective continuous prosperity depends largely upon the attainment of beneficial knowledge that if well applied, the world would become the place of our dreams.

Truly, It is through the abundance of knowledge that development is achieved and no nation can prosper beyond the capacity of its people.
No wonder the first command given to Prophet Muhammed (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family and companions) was 'read.'

Personally, I'm proud of the sterling heights being reached by the Edo State University, Uzairue. The world class institution of tertiary education is in no small measure building capacity for the transformation of our dearly beloved country.

What's more? As seen in the conferment of a Honorary Doctorate Degree on our son, Abu Inu Umoru, EDSU is collaborating with traditional institutions in recognizing and challenging our illustrious sons and daughters to do more in driving home developmental milestones that will engender a prosperous Afenmai Land.

It is my prayers that the Institution continues to prosper in Truth --in the journey of ensuring that students end up being worthy in learning and in character, become useful to themselves and to the society as well as add value to life and living.

Congratulations to the Management of Edo State University Uzairue, the staff and students of the Institution, parents and guardians of children and wards therein and the Edo State Government under the administration of Gov. Godwin Obaseki who has made it a norm to ensure that the best brains are quickly absorbed into the State's Civil Service for better productivity.

May Nigeria Succeed.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

The responsibility to address societal needs comes with a heavy burden, one we can truly bear via unceasing dedication to our expected duties through service to humanity, standing by the truth and continuous remembrance of Allah.

For some time now, we've witnessed blockage of roads via the Jattu Junction axis of Benin-Okene Expressway. This has brought a lot of inconveniences to our people on the one hand and has gained some form of recognition at the appropriate quarters on the other hand.

The demands of these protesting truck drivers cannot be undermined but moreso has been the demand of our people who feel their stay is long overdue.

As Allah would have it, we are hopeful of a win-win situation for all parties involved in the matter of our collective good. Representatives of the Federal Ministry of Works visited us on Sunday and together with the Union, we all agreed that truly, it is time to clear the road to enable Government begin work as it has promised.

As community leaders we must continue to show genuine concern over the matters of our people. As a people we must be responsible in our dealings such that we become collaborators in community cm societal progression. As a government, those who have been picked through elections or selection must do the mandate of the people.

This, if all parties act responsively, will engender the Nigeria of our dreams.

May Nigeria succeed.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Most Merciful.

Alhamdulillah Rabil Alamin for the gift of life thus far and for the successes recorded as we live through life.
Moreso, we are grateful that our challenges, our shortcomings, the trials along our paths have not watered down our resolve to pull through life while placing the dictates of Allah in view.

Allah be praised.

It has been my lifelong dream to see that our beloved community becomes known and moreso revered for having children who can commit the entire 77,340 words which consist of the 114 Surahs (Chapters) and the 6,348 Ayahs (verses) that form the Glorious Book of Al-Islam --The Qur'an.

Knowing how our forbearers destroyed numerous Idols just so that we can become closer to our Creator through Islam and seeing how far we have come since 1914, it gives me joy and makes me proud with fulfilment knowing that to a considerable extent, we have made a lot of progress in our journey to Allah in Islam --the True Deen as perfected by the Almighty (Surah 5:3 and Surah 3:19).

We must continue to seek the face of Allah so that the "Light Proclaimed" will continue to beam with Radiance such that Auchi Sacred Kingdom continues to flourish, attracting all from far and wide, uniting all under a common roof where we are all considered as one and the same people who genuinely love and care about each other for the collective Good.

This is the Good I have been asked to 'Plant on Earth.'

On the one hand, Islam is a Gift we must cherish and guard jealously by preserving its tenets and memorizing its books (Qur'an and Hadith) as much as we can. On the other hand, we as Muslims must live a life worthy of emulation, one that invites people to this wonderful Gift of Allah so that we can have more people to share with --the beauty of our Deen.

Quickly without boring you with too many text, I heartily appreciate the presence of all who made out time to celebrate Allah with us on the occasion of the recent Wolimat of Five of our Children (the eldest being 17years of age while the youngest just clocked 10). These latest additions to the numbers of Hafizul Qur'an in our Community gives me profound joy and my heart is elated in the ecstasy of Allah's Grace upon us.

I congratulate my very self (being a proud father of the youngest of the new Hufaz, Prince Mumin Aliru Momoh who doubles as the Qeetab(Kitab) of our Kingdom) and other parents whose Children were joined in celebration on Saturday the 8th of October and moreso, I pray that these children are truly guided in their life's journey.

Thank you and may Allah continue to ease our affairs and reward our efforts with success for the continuous progress, peace and tranquility of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.
