✌️OGBEKENU ONICHA OLONA STANDS WITH ITS SON RT HON.VICTOR OCHEI AS NDC WARD MEETING BECOMES A FESTIVAL OF CULTURE, LOVE AND SOLIDARITY

On thursday, the 1st of October 2026, the NDC Ogbekenu Chapter, Onicha-Olona Ward held their meeting which became a powerful demonstration of the deep affection and confidence, the people of Ogbekenu and the wider Onicha-Olona community have for their illustrious son, Rt. Hon. (Engr.) Victor Onyekachi Ochei, Esq., FNSE and the NDC as a party.

The atmosphere was a colourful blend of sociocultural celebration and political solidarity, as men, women, youths and senior citizens gathered enthusiastically to celebrate the New Direction under the NDC re-echoeing their support for the Delta North Rescue Mission; as championed by their very notable son Rt Hon (Engr) Victor Ochei Esq. FNSE.

Traditional displays, songs, dancing and heartfelt prayers reflected a community proud of its son and eager to identify and support the NDC from top to bottom.

Speaker after speaker recalled Victor Ochei’s years of public service and maintained that Onicha-Olona had witnessed no visible government presence since he left office. For the people, his return to political contest is therefore not merely another election; it represents invigorated hope for effective representation, infrastructure, sustainable empowerment and development that can be seen and felt.

The gathering unanimously declared its total support for Victor Ochei and the NDC as they decried the recent unguided statements of Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye in the town hall of Onicha Olona where he was desperately trying to slander Rt Hon Victor Ochei the man who brought him into politics, who raised and nurtured him and giving him his first political position to serve as youth leader to Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for his 2011 Senate elections.

Senior citizens, determined to participate in the coming election, appealed for appropriate arrangements to help elderly voters reach the polling centres and exercise their franchise in support of their son, Rt Hon Victor Ochei, Mr Peter Obi, Deacon Chris Iyovwaye and all NDC Candidates without unnecessary difficulty.

In his remarks, Elder E. C. Oweazim Snr. stressed the importance of supporting younger leaders who are competent. He recalled that he and Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa served as Secretaries to their respective Local Governments during the same period, arguing that the much older generation must recognise when it is time to retire and allow capable, experienced and energetic leaders to advance the development of the people.

Beyond the speeches, the meeting sent an unmistakable message across Delta North: Ogbekenu and Onicha-Olona are firmly behind their son.

For them, Victor Ochei’s candidacy represents experience, renewed government presence and a new pathway towards people-centered representation, inclusive development, sustainable progress and prosperity for all. Come Jan 16, 2027, Onicha Olona and Delta North at large shall 👇

✌️Defending APC actually leaves our youths clueless, foolish and unable to see or articulate things that are right before their nose.

When something happens in Warri as a reference point that the voting public have rejected Tinubu and the APC, the APC Media hogwash starts acting dumb and instead posts a video dating back to 2011 where Rt Hon Victor Ochei single handedly sponsored Okowa to the Senate.

What do you expect ? Even in the APC mediocre style and understanding of politics, politicians listen to anyman who single handedly support them and made them who they are. Okowa tempoarily listened to Rt Hon Victor Ochei emulating his leadership style at that time because he sponsored him to the Senate, hence; Rt Hon Victor Ochei commended him publicly for doing so.

Unfortunately Okowa following after Victor Ochei's leadership was shortlived because Okowa had started nursing his evil Governorship ambition that set Delta North back for 12years plus now. It was this evil ambition of Okowa's that stopped him from continuing doing right and made it impossible for him to attract one federal Health Institution to Delta North in all his remaining years in the Senate

This video like many others goes to show that Rt Hon Victor Ochei has led Okowa effectively in time past until he Okowa reneged and betrayed his trust as the snake that he is. It is okay for APC supporters who lack the mental capacity to see things as they are, to post things because of the monetary benefits from their paymasters ( of course poverty was long ago weaponized against them); but the truth remains that Delta North, Delta State and indeed the whole Nigeria has woken up to the New Direction. And nothing and i mean nothing from a deceitful Okowa or his APC Media aides will change the truth! Come January 16 2027, Delta North shall👇
