Advocacy visit to the Onu Enjema HRH Maxwell Yunusa Ameh on the sensitization campaign on security and get rich quick syndrome.
The COMO National Orientation Agency (NOA) Ankpa LGA Mr Makolo Muazu who represented the state directorate Mr Patrick Edogbanya at the program took time to explain the concept of the program to monarchs and the entire Enjema area traditional council.
The COMO emphasizes the need for parents to frown at the crave for riches by some Nigerians especially the youths, he said the period youthful age is when to study books and learn hand work as the case maybe and not to engage in ritual killing and yahoo. He said those who get rich quick through dubious means may likely die quickly. The only way to riches he said is hard work and integrity.

NOA Warns Kogi Students Against Get-Rich-Quick Schemes.

Ankpa,Kogi State.

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) Kogi State Directorate has embarked on a sensitization campaign in primary and secondary schools to warn students against the dangers of get-rich-quick schemes.

The campaign, a follow-up to a recent press conference, aims to address the rising issue of youth involvement in violent crimes such as ritual killings and cybercrime.

Mr. Makolo Muazu, the Community Mobilization Officer of Ankpa Local Government Area, representing the Acting State Director, Mr. Patrick Edogbanya, delivered a speech on behalf of the Director-General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu.

Muazu highlighted the detrimental impact of get-rich-quick syndrom on individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole. He urged students to embrace the virtues of hard work, discipline, and dedication, emphasizing that these qualities are essential for a successful and fulfilling life.

To reinforce his message, Muazu cited relevant verses from religious texts. He encouraged students to become responsible and respectful citizens who contribute positively to society.

The sensitization campaign has already reached Local Government Model Primary School, Timaku primary school and Aleka Academy Secondary School,Ankpa, with plans to expand to other schools in the state. By educating young people about the dangers of get-rich-quick schemes.

NOA hopes to prevent them from making harmful choices and to promote a culture of hard work and integrity.
