FRIDAY MARCH 1ST, 2019
Nigeria..... Hell......!
In Centuries past, God graciously swept the lands of Europe and America with the wind of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, from which Africa greatly benefited. Unfortunately, those that were once holding the torch have dozed off, but the mission of God for the world must be accomplished according to the scriptures.
However, from the look of things, and from what was said to be prophesied by that great Africa Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, God's eyes are on the continent of Africa, especially Nigeria, to take up the torch and continue from where they stopped.
As God has plans and assignments for individuals, so He does for nations, and at every dispensation, He sets His plans in motion. But due to ignorance, we compare ourselves with other nations going on their assignments according to God's program for the world, 'and comparing ourselves with ourselves, we are not wise.'
Obviously, the spadework has begun, no wonder so many fake ministers, as mixed multitudes, are springing up here and there to join the band and Nigeria is being labelled the most religious country in the world. This is the time therefore, for the truly-called watchmen to be more sensitive and alert at their posts.
Now, let's leave out the fake stomach-called ministers and ministries out of here.
The kingdom of darkness is very much aware of God's plan and they're putting mercenaries in place to frustrate this divine agenda for our great nation Nigeria while the children of God here are busy celebrating overblown religion.
This may not apply to everybody please, I'm only talking on general terms. Heaven knows that there are some ministers and churches that are seriously burning hot for Him.
From the Bible records, whenever God wanted to get back the attention of His erring or rebellious children, after several warnings, He would allow some predicaments to befall them.
He knew that after they have been terribly dealt with, they would remember Him, cry for mercy and repent for them to be delivered.
It could come in form of war, pestilence, droughts or afflictions. At times, He would allow underrated enemies to invade their lands and sentence them to exile. Another thing He used to discipline them is to give them bad leadership.
Do we think that God is not aware of all the challenges and attacks we've been facing in Nigeria from several years back - despite all our prayers? And yet, the pressure is still mounting.
Yes, the church walls and building are increasing, church projects are going on here and there, membership is growing daily, branches upon branches are being opened everday, day and night prayers are going on on the mountains and in the valleys, programs upon programs, handbills and posters everywhere..... All glory to God.
But can we as individual christian sincerely ask ourselves these questions:
Of what use are all of these to me in particular? What significant impact have these made in my lives? Since I've come to know this God, has my life been spiritually progressive? Is my life yielding the fruit of the spirit? Can Christ be perceived in my life by my way of life? Between God and I, is my account properly settled? How many lives have been won to God through me? Are my fruits abiding? What is my depth of God's knowledge? How deep is my relationship with Him? I claim to know Him, but does He know me?
These and much more are the questions we need to ask ourselves at this solemn period.
There have been shouts all over that the church is being attacked, but are our defense strong enough to withstand the attack? Our Christianity is in the mouth and not in heart!
It is not about blowing empty tongues and chanting lifeless scriptures, but about being filled with the very life of Christ.
Thank God for testimonies of blessings we share on the altars, many of which God is not responsible for, but where is the greatest testimony of godliness in the land?
And this brings me back to the topic
Nigeria....... Hell.........!
This was what heaven revealed to me on the day of the Presidential election, which obviously is pregnant with meaning for those who can decode it.
This is why we shouldn't rejoice too much over who won and who didn't.
Neither Buhari or Atiku is our Messiah. They are like two brands of an essential product produced by the same company. If you don't buy one, you go for the other, the company gains either way.
Either of them as been set in motion by God to make us return to Him.
Our case is likened to the rebellious Israel asking for a king against God's plan for them (1Samuel 8.) and He has answered us according to the god in our heart.
Either way, He has given us one that will wake us up from our spiritual slumber.
Yes, Christians prayed, churches prayed for God to choose for us among the two - the same God that we dishonour with our lives. Yes, He has answered us as He has been answering us in the past by giving us back what we present to Him.
Is there any past President that we didn't groan under and complain about?
As we have refused His ways in Nigeria, He has also answered us according to our ways.
There was a time that righteousness ruled in Nigeria, when people were devotedly serving God, and God gave us peace and rest round-about - even under ungodly leaders, but when we systematically pushed Him aside, He also since then has been systematically giving us 'other kings that didn't know Joseph.'
Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
The chips are laid before us. It is left for us to do the needful.
God is set to begin to seperate those that serve Him from those that serve Him not.
Your wealth, fame, education, beauty, connection or intelligence cannot save you.
God's provision is only for those in Goshen because money will soon fail in our 'Egypt.'
