Delta Most Outstanding Performance Awards is an award for Deltans and non Deltans who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the delta state in areas of Agriculture, Banking, Construction, Education, Energy, Environment and waste, job creation and Healthcare as well as individuals and corporate organizations who through creativity, innovation and patriotism have enhanced the quality of life of Deltans to commemorate Nigeria 100 years anniversary celebration.

The list below was obtained through a call for nomination and they comprise of Deltans and non Deltans contributing to growth and development of Delta state.

NEWAVES INNOVATIONS LAUNCHES DELTA 100 MOST OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARDS IN ABUJA TO COMMEMORATE NIGERIA 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

As part of preparations to celebrate Nigeria’s 100 years anniversary, Newaves Innovations the organizers of Niger Delta Achievers Merit Award and Nigeria Advancement Award launched the DELTA 100 MOST OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARDS in Abuja on 2nd December 2013 to recognize 100 distinguished personalities and organizations in Delta state contributing to national development to commemorate Nigeria 100 years anniversary celebration.

Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday 2nd December, Head, Corporate Communications, Newaves Innovations, Mr Koyoyo Uhrorho buttressed that the initiative is targeted at recognizing 50 brand organizations and 50 distinguished personalities in Delta State for their immense contribution to National Development as well as setting a standard template for the coming generation to follow.

According to Mr. Koyoyo Uhrorho, the objective of the Delta 100 Most Outstanding Performance Award program is to Recognize and award 100 outstanding intellectuals in areas of Agriculture, Construction, Education, Energy, Environment and waste, Healthcare and pharmaceuticals, ICT- information and communication technology, Insurance, Manufacturing, Media, Oil and gas, Public sector entity, Sports, Telecommunications, Tourism and leisure, Transportation, Utilities, Youth transformation and economic reintegration as well as other fields of human endeavor.

Mr. Koyoyo Uhrorho also stated that nominations for the 100 Most Outstanding Performance Award is open to Deltans and indeed the entire nation at large to nominate worthy individuals and corporate organizations for the award program and nominations will run till 23rd December 2013.

“There should be a paradigm shift to the POSITIVE IMAGE OF DELTA which showcases the true face of Delta as having the best brains in Nigeria society with remarkable performance in the various fields of human Endeavour and no better opportunity than a time as this when our nation Nigeria celebrates her 100 years anniversary” he added.

Also in a statement by the Publicity Secretary; Attah Nduka, notes that the event will be one of the largest gatherings of Executives, Business Owners, Political Leaders, MD’s Key Management of Businesses & Government and Emerging leaders for an award first ever in the history of Nigeria and indeed Delta State. The award presentation is billed to hold on 22nd February 2014 at Grand Hotels Asaba by 4:00pm

He also added that the award program is not a room to flaunt or ostentatiously showcase wealth and power of some deep pockets in our society; it’s a genuine inspiring means towards recognizing notable Deltans that have contributed immensely to the development of the state in their various professions.
