ARE YOU STILL ALIVE ?
Action Verse

Revelation 3:1-3
1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you do not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
Word for today
There are lots of people who are physically alive but are spiritually dead. Many are also out there boasting about their, influence, name and material things, but they are co**se walking. There are also lots of dead gatherings today as Jesus has foretold us who call the Lord with their mouth but their mind and deed are very far from the Lord they are calling. Luke 6:46 says, But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? He also said in Matthew 15:8-9
that, these people draw near Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
These and many more are what Jesus saw in the Sardis church, He saw that they claimed to have a name that assured them that they are alive, but they are dead. They have all things, but lack everything; they have what brings praise from men, but no praise from heaven. They have lost sight of the real assignment to pursue a Vail life. But God in His infinite mercy, who doesn't want anyone to perish, warns them to encourage them to examine themselves, and make an amendment where necessary. If not, He will visit them like a thief with the rod of judgment, which will end their lives in the place where they never pray to be.
Are you still alive, are you still at the place where God placed you, are you still doing His will? Anyone who doesn't have a bold response to these questions is already dead while he's still living. Note that, you can't live the life you didn't owe the way you like, but the way God, the owner wants it. He is the one who gave it to you, and He will ask for it one day. And if He asks for it today, is it available to return it to Him? Think about it, Jesus loves, He wants you forever and He doesn't want your life to end up where that was not prepared for you, hell, but heaven.
Prayer/Meditation
My God, help me to amend my ways before You, and to make a correction where it is needed now, in the name of Jesus.
