TEN PILLARS THAT MUST NEVER BE BROKEN IN MARRIAGE

1. COMMITMENT.

There will be no prices you will not be able to pay for what you are committed to.

2. SUBMISSION.

The situation of things cannot be alright when two leaders are sitting on a seat. The appropriate person must be allowed to lead which is man.

3. TRUST

Where there is no trust, there wouldn't be confidence. And where there is no confidence, there wouldn't be flow of marital bliss.

4. FAITHFULNESS

Faithfulness in marriage is an enemy of discord. Where faithfulness reigns, there will be peace and harmony. And what will result in conflict, striving or dissonant sound will not be there.

5. FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness in marriage means you married each other with who ever you are. And it's evidence that two mature partners are living together.

6. LACK OF COMPARISON

When there is no comparison in marriage, there will be no marital high blood pressure. That's why it is important to be content with who you are, and whatever God has blessed you with.

7. SEXUAL FREEDOM

It's the power house behind the peace in marriage, follow by the rest. You said money? What if there is money and there's no sexual intimacy, what will happen?

8. GOOD COMMUNICATION

If communication is right and timing, the mind will be free from all the synonyms of emcubancy.

9. UNDERSTANDING

When the two people living together understand themselves, their differences will not be the issues

10. THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

When you hand over the key of your home to it Maker and the Prince of peace. The storm will never have any place to lay it head.

May this PILLARS never lost it place in your life and marriage in the name of Jesus.

HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL

Memory Verse

Psalms 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Scripture Reading

Hebrew 10:23-25

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another to stir up love and good works,
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Word For Today

It is important to know that what you didn't value will certainly lose its value one day and may likely leave your life forever. That's why it is important to manage well whatever we have so we can enjoy it as long as we desire. It is not right to wait for the time when the important thing is lost or damaged in your life before you start running here and there for it restored.

The writer of our today's passage encourages the believers to hold fast their hope in the Lord without wavering because He who has spoken is faithful, and will do exactly what He has said. And they should try to consider one another so their love for each other can be sustained. He also exhorts them not to forsake the assembly of the Saint as many have done, but instead, they should exhort themselves because the day is not as long as expected.

It is also important for you to hold fast to your hope in the Lord, and guide what you have received so that nothing will take them from you. Some once confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior but when the trial comes, they turn back from the good path they have been taking that leads to eternity, but now the reverse is the case. Leaving your faith is not the solution to whatever you are going through. Proverbs 24:10 says, If you faint on the day of adversity, Your strength is small. You want to succeed and you want to escape some difficult periods, who do you want to use your own to resemble? Even the food you eat must pass through some process both on the fire or in your mouth before it gets to its final destination. So my brethren, It's not a good title to be an ex-Christian or ex-worker in the house of God. Though the situation to look back on may arise but know that it is just a breeze that blows, that will soon stop or come to an end. It doesn't come to blow you away and is not also strong enough for you to lose or deny your hope in Christ. Romans 10:8 says The word (Jesus) is near you, in your mouth and your heart, that is, the word of faith that we preach. It is always available to declare in any situation you may find yourself and there shall be an expected change. God did it in the beginning and brought this world we are into life. Never allow anything to steal the joy that is awaiting you at the end of your life. Hold on, it will end in praise because faithful is the One who has spoken, He will do exactly what He has said.

Prayer/Meditation

Lord help me to hold fast unto You till You come and help me not to look back in the name of Jesus.

WHEN IT BEYOND MAN'S POWER

Memory verse

Call Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3

Scripture Reading

2 Kings 19:14-16

14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord.
15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said: “O Lord God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
16 Incline Your ear, O Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.

Word For Today

Sometimes a situation may arise that will be beyond what one can face or not knowing the next step to take on it. There may be a threat from someone stronger than you or your superior officer that always gives you concerns, you have tried your best but to no avail. You need not to lose hope because there is a God in heaven who will not leave His children in the hands of the wicked ones to torment or frustrate them. You just need to do what Hezekiah did.

When Sennacherib king of Syria sent his servants to threaten him with their plans to fight against Judah. They talked against the living God and compared Him with the gods of other cities they have conquered. This brought great fear to the heart of the people of Judah and king Hezekiah. But king Hezekiah did what everyone was supposed to do when they were facing a horrible situation like this. He went to the house of His God, reported the case to Him, and God responded in an amazing way. All one hundred and eighty five thousand (185,000) soldiers who have already bezage Judah were killed by one angel before the break of the day.

There is also a God who can fight for you, the God of heaven and earth, your Creator, the One who has been sustaining you from the day one of your life till now. He is interested in hearing from you the situation of things in your life, not that He didn't know about it, but He wants you to call on Him. You need to know that whatever you may be experiencing now is not a crime, but it will be an offence for you if you are facing it alone when you have your God who you can report the case to. He is ready to save and deliver you from the hands of those who are oppressing and planning to destroy you. Tell Him about those challenges today with faith and open hearts, then He will make your days a blessed, glorious, enviable and testimony filled one.

Prayer/Meditation

My God, I come before You today to make right anything that seems not right in any areas of my life. And let my enemies regret their actions against me in the name of Jesus.

THAT THEY MAY REPENT

Memory verse

Whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed. Romans 3:35

Scripture Reading

Matthew 9:10-13

10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repent.

Word for today

The word of God says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. This began from Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden when they were lured to sin and fell into it. This resulted to the destruction of their generation through flood and all evils and atrocities that we are witnessing all over the world today. But because of the love and the mercy of God, He called out Abraham and his family from among the people of earth, and began the work of redemption. And when the appointed time comes, He sends His Son Jesus to be offered as a sacrifice for our sins, through which the right of the sonship was restored to as many that believe in Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

This is what today's passage is confirming to us. Jesus didn't leave any stone unturned, He knew those He came to save, the sinners. He sought them, sat with them, preached the coming kingdom of God to them. When He was accused, He told His accusers that He didn't come because of those who claimed to be healed and without sin. But those who are sick in the spirit and the sinners who need repentance.

Our names were once written in the book of destruction, but glory be to God who gave us our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the ransom for our sina. And gave us a new life, now we are being called sons and daughters of God. If you are yet to be one of them, today is another day for you to be added to them, the next minute might be too late. You need to tell Jesus now to come into your heart and take total control, and be ready to follow Him for the rest of your life. He came because of you, and He will love you to be counted among His own that will reign with Him forever. If you are already His own, I congratulate you, but don't stop examining yourself daily. Don't forget your going to church or doing one thing or the other in it doesn't make you His Own, but His 'TRUE IMAGE' in you.

Prayer/Meditation

Lord Jesus, I thank You for all You have done and went through for my redemption. I gave all in my life to You, I renewed my covenant with You today, and helped me to remain in You for the rest of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen.
