BRIEF HISTORY OF ADAZI-ENU*
Adazi-Enu originated from one great man called Okotu. Okotu migrated from an area in the present Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State where his other brothers; Umuona, Isuofia and Ikenga settled. He must have moved out of the area as a result of hunting expedition. When Okotu settled at a location presently called Adazi-Enu, he married two wives, to wit; Adazi

and Ichi. The first wife begets three sons, namely; Adazi-Enu, Adazi-Ani and Adazi-Nnukwu while the second wife begets Ichida, Amichi and Osumenyi. Adazi-Enu being the first son settled at the Obi (Obi Okotu) hence the title of our traditional ruler is Obi Okotu. The second wife of Okotu also got three sons namely Ichida, Amichi and Osumenyi. Adazi-Enu Community then began to grow and is today made up of six villages namely;-
1. Umuabu village
