TOPIC: HE DID IT BEFORE; HE CAN DO IT AGAIN

SCRIPTURE: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What God has done before, He can do again.

We serve a God who has a track record of answering prayers. That is why a major basis of our prayer is the record of what God has done before. His previous acts or manifestations are pointers to His present and future acts and manifestations. We pray with confidence because God has continued to prove Himself throughout all generations.

Hebrews 13:8 confirms that God does not change. What He did before, He is still able to do today. We know what He will do today because we saw what He did yesterday. We know what He will do tomorrow because we are seeing what He is doing today. What He did in another person’s life is a revelation of what is possible in our own lives.

In Exodus 3:14, God introduced Himself to Moses as “I AM THAT I AM.” In other words, whatever you have known Him to be before is what He still is. If He healed yesterday, He still heals today. If He delivered before, He still delivers now. If He changed stories in the past, He still changes stories in the present. If He scattered the works of darkness in ancient times, He still scatters the works of darkness in contemporary times. He is still the same God today, tomorrow and forever!

Malachi 3:6 corroborates His unchanging nature: For I am the Lord, I change not... God is consistent in nature, power, mercy, and faithfulness.

In Luke 1:36-37, the Angel told Mary about Elizabeth’s miraculous conception, declaring: For with God nothing shall be impossible. Thus, the testimony of Elizabeth became a prophecy for Mary. In essence, the Angel appeared to be saying, “If God did it for Elizabeth, yours is also possible.”

Beloved, when you see God move in another person’s life, do not become envious; become inspired. Testimonies are revelations of possibilities.

Genesis 21:1-2 reveals to us God’s faithfulness to Sarah: And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. God has a track record of saying it and doing it.

That is why testimonies should never be despised. Revelation 19:10 says, For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Every genuine testimony is a prophecy announcing what God is still able to do.

Beloved, the God who did it before can do it again. Testimonies are not stories meant for entertainment; they are prophetic proofs that God is still at work.

REMEMBER THIS: What God has done before, He can do again.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Study the testimonies and miracles in Scripture to strengthen your faith.
2. Refuse to envy those God has helped; let their testimonies inspire you.
3. Stand firmly on the unchanging nature and faithfulness of God.

PRAYER: Father, thank You because You are the unchanging God with a proven track record of faithfulness. Strengthen my faith through Your Word and testimonies and help me to trust You for everything and in every situation. Do in my life what only You can do, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

*TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF EXISTENCE AT THE TOP*

*SCRIPTURE:* He made him ride on the high places of the earth…” Deuteronomy 32:13

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship as a child of God.

*MESSAGE*
God never designed His people for the valley, the pit, or the backside of life. Through creation, covenant, prophecy, the law, and redemption, it has been made abundantly clear that the topmost places of the earth are reserved for Kingdom people.

In Genesis 1:28, God created man and said, *…Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and have dominion…* Dominion is a top-level command. It is impossible to dominate from beneath.

In Genesis 17:6, God told Abraham, *I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.* That means every genuine seed of Abraham is either a king or a nation. Ordinary people give birth to children, but Abraham gave birth to nations and kings. Therefore, by the covenant, you are not permitted to live an average or irrelevant life.

God did not create His people to crawl like chickens when they possess the destiny of eagles. You are an eagle, not a vulture. You are not meant for the low places of life.

Beloved, the top is not a place of pride; it is a place of kingdom assignment. God wants His children at the top so they can bring honour, glory, praise, and worship to Him through excellence, quality, and top-level existence.

That is why Jesus says in Matthew 5:16, *Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.* There is something people will see in your life that will generate praise for God automatically.

Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship. You do not worship God with songs alone; you also worship Him by excelling. When people look at your life and say, “This man is a genuine child of God,” God is glorified.

That was the story of Daniel. Daniel entered Babylon and outperformed all the magicians, astrologers, and wise men in their own realm because an excellent spirit was found in him. Through excellence, Joseph became lord over Egypt. Through the character of excellence and contentment, Esther became queen in Persia for the preservation of the Jews in the land of captivity. All these were kingdom people who existed at the top for kingdom purposes.

Beloved, refuse to settle for average existence. Whatever your field, the top is your place. The top is your rightful place whether you are in ministry, business, academics, medicine, politics, media, entertainment, etc. You are meant to excel and shine for the Glory of God.

*REMEMBER THIS:* Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship as a child of God.

*ASSIGNMENT(S):*
1. Reject every mentality of mediocrity and average living.
2. Pursue excellence and competence in your field with diligence and integrity.
3. Ask God to use your influence and position for kingdom impact.

PRAYER: *Father, thank You for calling me to shine for Your glory. I receive the grace to excel and exist at the top for kingdom impact, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.*

*TOPIC: YOUR CONSCIENCE AND YOUR FAITH.*

SCRIPTURE✝️: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 1 TIMOTHY 1:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY🤔: Faith answers to a pure conscience. There is a connection between your conscience and the vitality of your faith. For example, a car may have the engine, the electrical system, and all the other systems in place, but no matter how beautiful or functional the car is, there must be fuel, engine oil, and other things before it can move.

In the same manner, there are some critical things that must be in place for faith to work.

In today’s study, we shall explore one of the critical things needed for the working or potency of faith.

The force of a good conscience. We can call it uprightness or righteousness.

The Scripture makes it clear in 1 Timothy 1:19 that there is a link between a good conscience and active faith. In other words, the mystery of faith answers to a pure conscience. If faith must work effortlessly, conscience must be pure. It is not possible for conscience to be evil or defiled, and faith is potent.

Please, take note of the following:

1. Boldness can never be there if conscience is not clear. Proverbs 28:1 says, The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

2. Access to God is denied where conscience is not clear. We need access to God for faith to work. In other words, if the conscience is not clean, access is blocked.

Hebrews 10:22 says, Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Examples abound in Scripture of men who demonstrated rugged boldness by virtue of good conscience.

In 1 Samuel 12:3-4, Samuel stood before the people and asked them to point out if he had ever defrauded anyone of them, and they said that he had never defrauded them. Later in that same chapter, he declared rainfall in the dry season, and God answered him. That was the boldness of faith backed by a clear conscience.

Our master Jesus Himself says in John 8:46, Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

Also, in John 14:30, He says, Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Beloved, if you want your faith to work, exercise yourself always to have a conscience that is void of offence towards God and towards men.

You cannot deliberately hurt people, live with a defiled conscience and expect faith to work. It does not work like that. The force of good conscience is critical to the operation of faith.

REMEMBER THIS🛎️: Faith answers to a pure conscience.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Examine your life today and begin to deal with anything that defiles your conscience.

2. Maintain a conscience that is void of offence towards God and men.

PRAYER🙏🏽: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to maintain a pure conscience so I can walk in faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*TOPIC: THY KINGDOM COME*

*SCRIPTURE:* After this manner therefore pray: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. MATTHEW 6:9-10.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* It is never the intention of God for Satan to be more popular than God on the earth.

*MESSAGE*
The Kingdom of God refers to God’s rule, reign, dominion, government, and system. Scripture makes it clear that God’s major vision is to establish His rule and government on the earth.

God created man in His Own Image and created the Garden of Eden to reflect heaven. Thus, He made man to be like Him and placed man in an environment that looked like His Own.

That was the original vision of God for creation. When God said to man, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth,” He meant: “Multiply My Kind of people. Fill the earth with My Image and Likeness. Let the whole earth be overwhelmed and saturated with the kingdom system.”

It is never the intention of God for Satan to be more popular than God on the earth. It is never the intention of God for Satan to have a claim on the earth.

Things went on as planned until man fell in the Garden of Eden, and it began to look like the plan to establish God’s government, God’s system, God’s rule, and God’s dominion in the earth had failed. The plan appeared as if it had failed.

Then God decided to send His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ for the redemption of mankind. The first Adam failed to replicate heaven on earth, so He sent the last Adam, Jesus Christ.

John 12:23-24 says, *And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.*

That corn of wheat, which is Jesus, was God’s corn of wheat and was meant to be planted in death. And by resurrection, He was meant to reproduce His type again and fill the earth with the same kind of corn that was planted. When you sow mango, you reap mango. Being like Christ is not an ambition; it is our destination. It is our design. It is who we are meant to be.
The kind of things that Jesus experienced while He was on the earth—the Kingdom Life, was what God had in mind before He planted the corn.

He wanted a multiplied harvest. And that was why Paul the Apostle, speaking in Hebrews 2:10, said, *For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.*

Beloved, Jesus came to take us from the ground level into that glory realm, so we can operate in the same dimension, manifestation, and operation.

*REMEMBER THIS:* It is never the intention of God for Satan to be more popular than God on the earth.

*ASSIGNMENT(S):*
1. Decide to live as a true representative of God and His Kingdom on earth by reflecting His character and lifestyle daily.

2. Pray consistently for God’s Will, Rule, and Dominion to be established in your life, family, nation and generation.

PRAYER: *Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ to restore Your purpose for mankind. Let Your Rule, Will, and Dominion be established in my life and upon the earth. Make me a reflection of Your Image upon the earth, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.*
