The Delegation of the European Union (EU) in Abuja is one of the 136 EU Delegations around the world and is a full-fledged diplomatic mission, which officially represents the EU's interests in Nigeria and ECOWAS. The Delegation of the European Union to Nigeria and to ECOWAS is part of the European Union External Service, and is one of the more than 130 Delegations throughout the world. The Delegat

ion has the status of a diplomatic mission and officially represents the European Union to Nigeria and to the Economic Community of West Africa States. The European Commission is one of the institutions of the European Union, the others being the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the Court of Justice and the Court of Auditors.
