HAPPY NEW MONTH & HAPPY INDEPENDENCE 🇳🇬

Today Nigeria turns 65, and while we celebrate our great nation, we must speak our truth.

Bartenders are not smiling — we dey vex. The conditions of work, the lack of protection, the absence of recognition… these must change.

We are more than “the people behind the bar.” We are professionals. We are culture carriers. We are part of Nigeria’s economy.

This month, and in this new season, we call on leaders and policymakers to see us, hear us, and act.

Because until bartenders rise, hospitality in Nigeria cannot truly shine.
