ARISE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP, OGUN STATE CHAPTER PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO POLITICAL GLADIATOR, JOSEPH OLUWASEGUN JAMES "JOJ", DECORATES HIM AS STATE PATRON

In a bold move to consolidate grassroots mobilization ahead of 2027, the Ogun State Chapter of Arise for Good Governance Tinubu Support Group paid a high-powered courtesy visit to the Abeokuta residence of one of Ogun State’s foremost political gladiators, philanthropist and public figure, Joseph Oluwasegun James — popularly known as JOJ in the morning hours of Friday 14 August, 2026.
The delegation, led by the State Coordinator, Dr. Peter Olusade Adebimpe, was received in an atmosphere of warmth, respect and unmistakable political significance.
JOJ DECORATED AS OGUN STATE PATRON
In recognition of his towering profile in public service, uncommon humility, massive grassroots base and consistent commitment to people-oriented leadership, the State Executive Committee formally decorated JOJ as Patron of Arise for Good Governance Tinubu Support Group in Ogun State.
The decision, according to the State Youth Leader, Comrade Adebayo Oyekunle a.k.a "Oba", followed strong recommendations from the youth leadership across the Gateway State.
_"JOJ is not just a role model. He is a man of the people, a bridge-builder, and a grassroots commander whose name commands respect in every local government in Ogun State. His support will add serious weight to our mission for Asiwaju’s re-election,"_ Comr. Oyekunle stated.
JOJ ACCEPTS, PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU’S 2027 BID
Responding, an elated Joseph Oluwasegun James expressed deep appreciation to the group for finding him worthy of the honor.
He disclosed that while several groups had reached out in the past, his tight schedule prevented engagement. However, he was convinced by the strategic depth, discipline and clear roadmap presented by the Ogun State Executive, particularly the Youth Wing.
"I have listened to your plans, and I see seriousness. The re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 is a task that must be done. You have my support, my doors are open, and I will stand with this movement," JOJ declared to applause.
STRATEGIC TEAM ON GROUND*
A total of eight (8) key State Executive Members were present for the decoration and strategic engagement. They include:

The session was marked by fervent prayers offered by members of the Executive, committing the mission and the Patron to divine guidance.
In her remarks, the State Women Leader, Comrade (Mrs) Abosede Olaleye, could not hide her admiration. She praised JOJ’s humility and exceptional hospitality, describing the visit as "a meeting of purpose, passion and people who truly believe in good governance."
CONCLUSION
The decoration of JOJ as Patron signals a major boost for Arise for Good Governance Tinubu Support Group in Ogun State. With his political structure, philanthropic reach and grassroots appeal now backing the movement, the group is poised to deepen its mobilization across all 20 LGAs for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR come 2027.
