Uba Sani: We Have Restored Hope to Marginalized Communities in Kaduna state
Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has declared that his administration has restored hope to marginalized communities across the state through inclusive governance and people oriented policies.
The governor made the remarks during the 2026 APC gubernatorial primary election affirmation, where he highlighted key achievements of his administration in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, security, and youth empowerment.
According to Governor Uba Sani, communities that were previously neglected are now benefiting from the dividends of democracy as a result of deliberate efforts by his administration to extend development projects to hard to reach areas of the state.
He emphasized that agriculture remains a major pillar of Kaduna State’s economy, contributing over 47 percent to the state’s Gross Domestic Product, noting that his administration demonstrated its commitment to the sector by allocating 13 percent of the state budget to agriculture.
Speaking on security, the governor said Kaduna State has not witnessed any ethno religious crisis in the last three years, attributing the achievement to his administration’s commitment to justice, fairness, and inclusivity.
“Without justice, there can be no peace,” the governor stated, while reaffirming that his administration belongs to every citizen irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation.
On youth development, Governor Uba Sani disclosed that the state government will continue to initiate programmes aimed at creating opportunities for young people. He cited the establishment of three vocational training centres in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf as part of efforts to equip youths with practical skills for self-reliance and economic growth.
The governor also extended a hand of friendship to members of other political parties in the state, stressing that all stakeholders share a common responsibility in the collective struggle to move Kaduna State forward.
