In line with the statutory outlined terms and conditions for aspirants in the Support Me To Lead Movement (SML), the extraordinary planning committee has conducted transparent screening for the interested aspirants and 25 were short of the expected requirements to contest.
The committee Conducted transparent Screening of the candidates that indicated interest to contest under the movement within 15th of January to February 16th, 2022 as screening will be done every 3 weeks and about till the end of the phase 1 virtual mock election which will end in June.
It is pertinent to state that some of the requirements which include, academic certificate, voters' card, nationality and verifiable occupation.
However, after the rigorous exercise, only Eleven aspirants made the list:

Support Me To Lead Movement is an initiative that promotes due process, transparency, accountability and good leadership to which are bedrock for socio-economic and political development.
The movement wishes to urge Nigerians to express interest in the virtual mock election created to change the narrative about poor youth inclusion in politics and support emerging leaders.
