You can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. Hence, you need to make a change to get a change of result. Most often, the problem is not from not doing something differently, but stems from focusing on the wrong thing to change. People make changes, but not all changes are equal—some are life transforming, while others are ineffective.
The difference lies in where the changes are made. Life transforming changes originate from the invisible, which is the root of our existence. The source of a change determines its effectiveness. Changes made from the wrong point are often ineffective and fail to fulfill their purpose.
As T. Harv Eker wisely stated, "If you want to change the fruits, you must first change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible."
Consider a tree bearing fruit: if the fruit is not as expected, the solution lies not in the fruit itself but in the roots—the seed, the soil, and the nutrients drawn from the earth. The fruit represents your results, the roots symbolize your mindset, and the nutrients from the earth reflect your location and environment.
If you’re not achieving the results (fruits) you desire, the problem is not from the result but from your root. You need a shift in approach and mindset, and possibly a change in your environment. What lies in the roots produces what appears on the tree.
To live the life you envision, you must embrace the necessary changes and ensure they stem from the right places.
